- We stayed in a rush tower corner suite at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas on Fremont Street. The budget-friendly suite was a great option, just beware of the loud music if you are a light sleeper and request a room facing away from the party.

GN had the best deals for rooms downtown eariier this year for their player club members. Rooms mid week were $41/night without a resort fee. Sometimes I'd upgrade to the gold tower for around $30-40 more per night. I've stayed there probably 5 or 6 times this year. It always feels like a good value at the Golden Nugget. Happy Anniversary to Dani and Mr. Dani!

Congratulations on the Anniversary Dani!!! The nugget i think is the best of the old strip hotels. Bummer slide was closed since they promoted that so much back then. I wonder if they still have the largest nugget of gold still in the main lobby. Over all seems like a great stay after all these years. Love the content
The Gold nugget is still there! I did a thing on it not to long ago so I didnt add it in to this one. But its still there. :)
What a classic 🎉 this would be my choice based on the colorful lights and the ambience there it’s just so Vegas

Congrats on the 12! I've stayed in the Rush tower recently and it's SO nice! The pool area and dining options are great! The property in general is totally thriving. My only complaint is the miserable blackjack rules that the casino offers. They need to do better in that regard. Great presentation! Thank you!

I love the Nugget! My brother-in-law and sister-in-law always stay there and I swore I'd stay there the next time I was in Vegas, but I couldn't pass up the deal the Plaza had in 2020 right before the blip as it were. The pool...the different restaurants...the gaming...the pool, did I mention the pool...I love it! They were in the Rush Tower as well and so well done! Happy anniversary to you both and here's to many more years of joy and happiness!

Great video, your husband is a lucky man. You look amazing as always and happy anniversary to you both. Living in Florida I always get the itch to travel out to Las Vegas but then that cross-country flight always brings me back to reality. Somebody soon maybe!
That’s a great place with so much cool history. Yes, one should just accept that if you stay near Freemont St. the music (etc.) will be loud. But looks to be a nice place. Love the restaurants and pool there. A very helpful review. Cheers Dani and Eddie!
I was suprised being as high up as we were and a "newer" tower. I wonder if Circa has the same issue. From now on I'll be requesting the farthest room from Fremont or bring my own fan noise incase the one in the room is to quiet. haha
@@Dani702 Hi. We have not stayed at Circa (yet), but yes would bet yes, they do have same noise issue. That looks like a very cool place too. Have you done a review there? (sorry if I missed). So my wife purchased a white-noise app on her iPad, it really helps sleeping. We are are sorta night people anyway, so 2:30 am, while late…we are just falling asleep. We love your reviews. Hi Dani, congrats on the anniversary. Eddie is a lucky guy. I can totally understand the light sleeper thing. When I would stay at Bally's (now Horseshoe) they had a couple of different towers. The one I got was facing Paris and their Eiffel tower. Nobody bothered to tell me that there was a very LOUD nightclub in the Eiffel Tower that would play till around 4 am. I called to complain...guess what? The front desk clerk offered me earplugs. I said seriously...my room is shaking like a 6.7 quake from the bass in the club(I'm from L.A. I know) and you offer me earplugs? How about a comped night or buffet...nope...only ear plugs. 😱😱😱🔊🔊🔊📢📢📢
Omg I wouldn't have thought about that either. They used to have a loud outside bar by the imperial palace back in the day. They one time warned us that the area above it was the only king size bed they had left or if we wanted to switch to 2 queens, which we did. I was always thankful they are least have us the option.

I’ve stayed in the Rush Tower, in a room facing away from the FSE (toward the Strip)…noise was never an issue. Golden Nugget is nice if you can get a good deal….Fremont Street in general just isn’t as fun as it used to be; loud, sketchy, not a lot of good gambling.
That's good to know about the noise level! I'll be requesting that from now on in all of DT hotels.

Absolutely love the Rush Tower, and Golden Nugget in general. But, hear me out on this:
That step-in, deep tub is a little treacherous for those of us with a horrible sense of balance. Lol. Aside from that, the pool is great, Charthouse has awesome happy hours..and for what you get, the price point is decent.

As a Midwesterner (Naperville, IL) I love TI and I the Venetian is about as fancy as I can handle lol I was just there in Aug for the first time and kept hitting some nice hand pays on Top Dollar and Pinball. Did a little research about the regulations and best machines and sure enough. Yo boy walked out with about 6k in total winnings and spent maybe 400 ish bucks. Can't wait to to go back in January for my b days. Thank you for these videos they are helping me cope with missing Vegas LOL

Loved our stay at the Nugget! Wish the pool had a bit more room, but other than that, it was a nice place to stay!
Great video. Stayed Carson tower over Labor Day weekend. Place was super busy. Room was basic, but clean. Water bottles were nice, but no other amenities. I loved actual check in staff instead of kiosks. My only view was east to the Downtown Events center.
I only ate at the Cadillac Mexican restaurant. My chicken salad was fresh with plenty of chicken. Drinks were great as expected.
How was the noise in the Carson tower? I remember not having an issues but that was probably 15 years ago.

That did remind me of my previous trip to Flamingo hearing the Omni nightclub all night. That was awful 😞

Staying at the Vdara in a panoramic suite for 6 nights in April. Cant wait to get back. Been 5 yrs since I was in Vegas. Use to go 3 times a yr for a period of 6 yrs. Such good times. Looked at the golden nugget but the reviews turned me off. Your room looks good but very dark.

I havent been in circa much but I'm sure its comparable to the golden nugget. I think prices were higher at Circa when I was looking.
Very nice room but if it’s that loud that they give you ear plugs, think the strip will be best. We always stay at Paris. Thanks for sharing

Happy Anniversary! That looks nice! The sound at night would hurt though. I stayed at The 4 Queens last year and since I was checking in later in the day, the only room left in my room class was on the 4th floor under the canopy with one of the speakers right next to my window. Not great, but the next deay they gave me a better room on a higher floor and on the other side of the building. This video definitely makes me want to stay at this resort though! Glad you both had fun!
Ouch being next to the speaker. When I stayed at the Apache hotel I was just slightly around the corner from Fremont Street and it was really loud but they had a fan in there that hummed over the noise and I had less of an issue on the third floor then I did facing Fremont on the 17th for whatever reason. I'll have to bring my own fan next time I stay downtown just in case they can't put me in a room away from the street.

Lol we played one game on roulette. We do a thing where we bet on our room number. But we lost. 😔 Thankfully it was just $2 hahah.

The Nugget continues to anchor the Downtown, despite newer properties. Ps The slotted drawer in your room was for something called DvD's!

Good advice on the room location. Not very many channels mention it. Never booked that area cuz we plan on some sleep😅
It was a long night lol. When we stayed in the Carson tower, we stayed 3 nights and I never had an issue. I think when you book you know which tower you are getting. I learned my lesson though hahah.
