After an awesome day of overlanding the beautiful North of Baja Peninsula, we found an amazing beach that we called camp! Setup our camping gear and opened up the rolling kitchen! The Patriot Campers X2 trailer. Tonights menu: Birria de Res in the MenGrills camp pressure cooker, and I will show you how I do it!

I love everything you guys are doing on your channels! It would be nice to see a "behind the scenes" video of all the work and intricacies that go into these adventures. From grocery shopping to cleaning up afterwards to the bathroom facilities you use, trash storage and subsequent disposal, etc. I think it would be good for all to see that it's not all glamorous all the time.

Looked delicious, and that pressure cooker came in clutch! Just to make life easier, I would prepare the sauce at home, put it in ziploc with the meat, throw it in the refrigerator, and by the time you get to camp it will be marinated and ready to go in the pressure cooker.
The only camping I've done, besides deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, has been to music festival. A couple times its been glamping in an RV, but other times just regular camping. We've made pozole, menudo, etc at home, and freeze it just to make things a bit easier.
I just got a 2011 Honda Pilot 4WD that I plan on doing some light overlanding/off-roading/camping with. Been watching tons of videos on TH-cam trying to learn as much as I can. Keep it up, look forward to more videos from you!

Hey i was also stuck there on the road when there was a protest going on!! luckily some truckers told me about a detour thru some dirt roads and was able to go all the way to the end of the protest, i love that area from punta san jose to colonet, awesome surf and epic views, my group also makes birria but next time i will definitely try your recipe .

Marco -- I came by your TH-cam channel via TrailRecon and bought your cookbook last winter. My sister and I have become big fans (and subscribers) and neither of us "overland" but are car campers (she's in Oregon, I'm in Washington, DC). You've about got me persuaded to get a Skottle and now am looking at pressure cookers. I'll look to see if you have those links so you can benefit from any purchases. Would love to see you do a video dedicated to "Camp Cooking Gear" ranging from knives and utensils to the big gear - stoves, blender, etc. Really appreciate your positive spirit and the enthusiasm you bring to enhancing outdoor adventures with delicious and nourishing cuisine.
