If I had to choose, I would stay with her Opheliac Era. It's her most "evolved" version. And it's true that she has been stuck in The Asylum. But it's her decision. She has a lot of potential to explore, but it seems she has got there.
late reply but you're absolutely right, her opheliac era was her best moment. the lyrics, the aggresive and passionate vocals, the music itself was amazing and it stays as her most beautiful album. i mean, enchant was awesome as well but it doesn't have the same impact as opheliac (for me, at least). like you've said, i wish she could explore her potential a lot more. i love the asylum but i've grow tired of it, i hope she can do something different.
So, I know Em sings live. Everyone knows. I've seen her live. I even have a DVD copy of her FLAG concert...so...why is is she singing OVER playback for this? It's the CD recording playing complete with lyrics and she is singing over it. It's not just this video either, but every Opheliac performance I've found! Anyone know why?
