Never understood why Ibanez puts the best finishes in its cheapest guitars.

I have the (slightly better imo) old Indonesia built version, its a real solid workhorse, i still havent played a better non locking trem. Its so versatile, i would recomend swapping the humbucker out for a irongear hotslag for cheap.
Whatever you ran that through really captured articulation and nuance.. I’m currently setting up my platforms, but I’m happy to finally be a part of the channel. I figured it was about time 🤣.

I have four SA's. Love the body style though. SA and S bodies are all I play. None of them have the stock pickups. "To me" the sounds are just thin, shrill and ice-picky. Or some nasty harmonic my ear can't stand. Fender Noiseless work best "for me" for getting "Stratty" tones if I need them. Subscribed. Best Regards!

That is a gorgeous finish , I just purchased a sas36fm bout month ago from reverb and I'm very happy with it. That sounds great also. I'm in the USA I don't think we get that finish.

This is my first Ibanez guitar and I can’t believe the playability on the fret board.
I’m thinking of upgrading the humbucker pickup to a Seymour Duncan or a bare knuckle but can’t decide

Cannot decide between this or the pacifica 311h as a second guitar. I dont mind the tremolo or hardtail and the pickup configuration, just trying to buy as best quality for the money instrument i can. Going towards to the yamaha for the better woods, locking tuners and graphtech nut but im really considering this one also, especially for the looks. My main guitar is a MIM fender player series strat SSS and just looking for a second one,cheaper but not the lowest tier, with different pickup configuration than SSS to have arround. Any suggestions?
The pacifica is very straty so the Ibanez would be a nice departure. I am blessed though cause I love this guitar.

It's direct into a Laney IRT SLS with some delay reverb from Line 6 helix native. I have reviews demos.of the IRT range on the chanel. It's a monster 🤘🧟♂️🤘

What interface/gear you used in this video?
Laney IRT sls running di into a PreSonus 192 audio interface with two notes wall of sound for my cab modelling. Using the marshall copy that came free? 🤘🧟♂️🤘

It's a little fatter than the wizard necks but still really playable. I'd say it more Jacksonish. Deets should be o the Ibanez website dude.

Don't know dude, this is lighter than an RG. I've played the same 2 guitars though and them be very different in weight so it a tough one to call buddy. 🤘🧟♂️🤘

Fine, dude like all guitars, heat, cold damp and a soft case will knock it out a bit but on the whole its solid. 🤟🧟♂️🤟

Paul, I'm so glad you discovered the Quantum pickup, told you it was a beast. Having this guitar under your roof, I have something you can blow that roof of with :) That guitar, Laney IRT Studio + Boss MT-2 set on 12,max+10,2+2, and 2 o'clock. Try the clean channel on the IRT + pedal ;) ....+ Boss NS-2 (I don't do actual gear demo's, so I leave it to the pro) Though I have made a kind of demo myself on my latest 7-string th-cam.com/video/oDcEWDz2-qw/w-d-xo.html I took up guitar seriously 3 years ago, this more or less the result, hope you kind of dig it. Most of my gear I ever purchased, was by watching your channel! Greets from Belgium :)

I bought this exactly one knowing that Ibanez would not let down on the quality of body work and fret work - on what I got - both are done terribly for this price.
The gradient paint on the body is very sharp and it looks more like two colors - which looks just a stupid mess of painted flame.
The neck is worse than most of any Squire or cheaper Ibanezes I had before. Two of the frets are significantly lower than others - no way to have even a descent action, not to mention anything within shredding ballpark.
The plug in socket on SA is a design disaster - it's guaranteed for the finish on the edges to be chipped off or scratched no matter how carefully you plug/unplug. Mine got blemished on edges within a week of careful use, just cuz the jack happened to be tight.
The tremolo is a joke compared to the cheapest one you can get on aliexpress.
My worst purchase ever, especially considering that due to covid crap exchange or return was not an option.

I'm very sorry for you bad purchase. I own a SA260FM that has the same electronics and tremolo. Probably I've been much more lucky than you, because my axe is awesome in every sense and I chose it after side-to-side comparing it with other more expensive ones of other brands.
Actually it was the winner of a competition based on a long list of requirements - some of them quite "nerdy" - that I compiled before doing my pilgrimage to several shops of my town.
The cherry on the pie is that I put it right away in the hands of my trusted luthier to do the setup according to my taste. The luthier confirmed me that the guitar went out of the factory in perfect condition.
really badluck. But is also not a true shredder. Its more designed to cover all genres and a introduction to ibanez guitars for those who are afraid that ibanez does only shredders. Fret are definitely a problem for you so bad luck on that part but this happens to all time and cheap guitars, even squiers.

I'm looking for some cheaper second guitar to my Charvel San Dimas that I would like and found this one in my e-shop so I checked this video to know how it sounds. Well it sounds good for its price range and looks really nice. It is just what I would expect from it. You made it sound like the guitar was way better than it is. I made it sound too negative. I compared it with my guitar but it can't really compete with a guitar twice its price. Sorry, my bad.
