Yes accidents do happen but let’s not justify careless accidents. I’m a doctor and ended up in a car accident because of a lady speeding unnecessarily. Gone through 4 serious surgeries and 2 more yet to be scheduled. Though I take the highest opioids for pain but still can’t sleep due to pain. I’m now a disabled and had affected the lives of my children and my mom forever. I can barely do much for myself and it’s very depressing. I try to be happy but I get angry when I remember that day. I saw her speeding my way on the highway and there was no where for me to hide. Thank God she ended up in jail but she had taken lots from me. The sleepless nights studying and not being able to enjoy life with my kids. I feel rubbed! May God comfort the parents of the baby and may he RIP. Not everyone speed. I always respected driving rules. It’s important to trove below speed limit. One minute can save a life

Hello doc, I don’t know you but I can feel your pain, anger, frustration, and denial in your write up, especially not able to enjoy the hard-work that goes into studying to become a medical doctor. I sincerely hope and pray that miracle comes your way in order to start practicing, more importantly to do what you’re called to do and save lives. I’m deeply sorry about your struggles and the pain you’re going through. Hopefully, you get over this traumatic experience as this can linger on for a very long time, knowing that you can’t do anything about it. Lil Wayne's car was really speeding like formula 1 in my neighbourhood. He passed through Asafo Yf through to Amakom and the limit of the speed was something to talk about. This guy needs to face the law.

I think the Police does not prevent or restrict anybody's movement (unless there is a serious traffic violation like drunkenness, where an arrest is made) in the event of an accident. The Police gives report and details about the accident and citations as to who and what caused the accident and ensures the safety of the road, including towing of the vehicles involved in the accident to ensure free flow of traffic and pedestrians, calling an ambulance if need be.
All other situations are handled by insurance companies and lawyers
The way things are going in Ghana 🇬🇭 a time will come very one will take the law our own hands
