Eyelash shampoo. Comes in a pump bottle, comes out as a foam. Use a clean eyeshadow brush to gently clean them with the foam. Then brush them out once they're dry with an eyelash spoolie!
It urks me a little when people spend so much money on lash extensions or acrylics but don’t actually look after the natural ones they have underneath. Health is more important than beauty. If you have an infection or you’re just dirty, covering it up with something pretty doesn’t fix it and its not pleasant for the person doing your lashes/nails to deal with. Lashes/extensions/nails is a luxury and although it saves you time getting ready and is ‘low maintenance’ in terms of daily upkeep, it doesn’t mean you don’t need to thoroughly clean them. If anything it means MORE work and maintenance because now you have to clean your natural ones and be extra careful cleaning the extensions 😭

I had a friend with this growing up. She'd wake up with her eyes sealed shut sometimes and have to hold a warm wet cloth to her eyes to open them. I'd look into the vinegar treatment from the previous reply. I have found that vinegar can clean, treat and cure most anything and it's better than using the chemicals and unknowns from the pharmaceutical industry if you can.

When I was a teenager my optometrist shared a way to clean your eyelashes. She told me to use Johnson tearless baby soap. You can rub it into your eyelashes/ eyes and it doesn't burn. Feels like nothing actually.. I have been doing this every since. I use it for washing my babies face and also for washing around my dogs eyes. It really works!!!
This is why I always promote using a good lash bath. The one I use is from LLBA and it does so well at removing any dirt, oils or makeup left on the lashes.
It's not hard to clean your lashes. I use a disposable washcloth and take my finger nail and wipe it as close to the bottom of the lashes on each eye 👁️. I do it until the cloth comes up clean. Then I know my lash line is clean. I do this every day mostly because I have to put drops in my eyes because of dry eye syndrome. I don't want dryed up drops on my lash line. Good luck cleaning your lashes ladies.

I used to use makeup remover wipes for my eyes, and then realized it said if you get it in your eyes to wash them "thoroughly for 5 minutes" lol . So I would think soap, but that's the same problem. I know water is not enough on its own, especially if I'm trying to take off waterproof eyeliner. Ahh the struggle
Yes. Especially if you wear makeup often. Dirt will build up on the lash extensions and you can actually lose a lot of your real lashes from if too much dirt builds up.

Why don’t you just use diluted vinegar? Just close your eyes and keep your eyelashes moist with it for 20-30 minutes each night til it’s cured.
