In the text ( Thirteen Patriarchs of PureLand Buddhism ) Master Yin Guang said in a letter: "In my several decades of traveling everywhere in every direction, a distance of thousands of miles, I observed the following: (A.) Many Buddhist Masters of ( ch'an ) having a deep understanding of the " Purpose" and the "Teaching" often look down on Pureland. When dying, the majority of them became confused; and now and then some even became overwhelmed with fright, screaming out in terror. (B.) As for people who truly practice Nianfo, even if their faith and vow are not as deep and sincere, having no apparent signs they will gain rebirth upon death, when they die they pass away in peace." Therefore: From birth until death,Pureland Buddhism is truly A ship rescuing sentient beings from suffering in this Dharma Ending Age and beyond. "Namo Amituofo ' 🙏🙏🙏

the video 16:40 , even King Yama aka Son of Heaven “his title is officially recognised by the Buddhas n Bodhisattvas n all Celestials” prostrates to Amitabha portrait meaning he also nianfo , a Pureland adherent. surely , the countless Ghost Kings n their subjects also into nianfo , all followed their Chief n i don’t think their followers dare to mischief.
Bear with me friends I need to make another post about the text ( Thirteen Patriarchs of Pure Land Buddhism ). One day many years ago I went to the Library here in my Hometown and came across this big heavy Book called ( Thirteen Patriarchs of Pureland Buddhism). So the name of the Buddhist Temple and the address & phone number was on that Book. So I called that Buddhist Temple and they sent me the book Thirteen Patriarchs of Pureland Buddhism and a few other Dharma books. Now that Book Thirteenth Patriarchs of Pureland Buddhism is a very hard book to find which makes me believe I have a affinity with the Amitabha Buddha. Now I still have that book, but I'm saying it's hard for anyone else to find that book. "Namo Amituofo" 🙏🙏🙏
n Chan practice without Pureland method is almost similar to Theravada practice, emphasis on Meditative practice, sitting down quietly n tamed their mind. Ven. Xuyun is a fine example but how many of us can be on par with his cultivation consistently on meditative state sec to sec nonstop. self effort is very hard , no joke.
n I don’t think the fortunate beings who get a Western Pureland rebirth need to go thru bardo period or bardo period does not apply to them. or a more accurately describing it as the fortunate beings are not being judged by the Ghost Kings.
@@TheCardanoArmy yes , agree. I do remember Ven. Chin Kung mentioned abt it briefly n furthermore Chapter7 Ksitigarbha Sutra also describing the bardo period 49dys conditions every individuals hav to go thru but i am not sure abt other realms condition such as Celestials or the animals realm etc.
@@HerFavColor-ut9qb yes but self effort is very hard n i don’t practice sitting down quietly meditation type due to long working hrs. its better for us to cultivate further in Amitabha Western Pureland of Ultimate Bliss.

But once you get the jhanas correctly everything falls into place not super hard and keeping precepts is a must
