Then another firm seemed upset I'd had quite a few jobs in my 25 year career, suggesting this was a negative. I explained that I didn't see this as a negative, but a strong positive: sometimes losing a job and being able to find another quickly, fit in and hit the ground running. Plus I'd worked for different types of employers in different countries and had gained language skills and was generally overall successful.
You’re right. A lot of employers also say the wrong things. I think employers can also put a lot of emphasise on people not changing jobs but people have life’s and aren’t tied to one company. Thanks for the insights !
