impala alarm calling at young male lions

On a game drive through Chobe NP in Botswana we saw a very focussed and gorgeous impala buck standing and looking at the bushes. Along with the well known snorting (alarm call) it was clear there must be something, and indeed, there were two young male lions laying under the shade, as lions do most of the time.
