I've had this pod for a year now, and I'm very surprised to see all the negative comments for it, on the lake I fish the swims very much dictate weather a pod or banksticks can be used, this pod gives the options to counteract that problem. I've not had anything on it fall apart and I fish all year round, it's very lightweight and providing you take an extra minute to ensure all the screws are tight it's a brilliant bit of kit. Just to make this clear as well, I never listen to the sales pitch from these guys as they will never point out the bad bits, but I thought I'd take the time to post an honest review for it, who knows, maybe I got lucky with mine but I would certainly recommend one
Totally agree! I have also used this pod for over a year and I fish all year round, I have used it mostly as a pod set up but I have also used it without the centre bar with separate back and front sticks. It's lightweight, sturdy, easy to set up and pack away and I can leave my bite alarms fixed to the sticks when packed away. It also packs down nice and small and fits in the front of my barrow bag. Great pod that I too would happily recommend.
@Ian-WelshCarpers it's great for having a 2 pod set up and putting a cheeky 3rd rod in the margins on a bank stick too, endless option's and a very reasonable price! Some pods are ridiculous money these days 😳
Yeah I agree I bought one as it looked good. However biggest waste of money. Bends far to easily. Points of bank sticks bent in soft mud. And is as stable as a new born baby.
Not a fan of this pod due to the same reasons in the comments, anyone recommend a decent pod that's going to last? I fish on pegs that are mainly gravel so has to be tough.. TIA
Terrible pod, as soon as I got it out the bag I could see it’s made terribly. Manufacturing is awful, wonky straight out the box. Doesn’t tighten up very well either. Kept it for too long thinking maybe I’d set it up wrong. Wish I’d sent it back.
I bought one thinking it looked good off this video, it’s a piece of shit parts of the main bars have snapped on the first fish which was under 10lb now got to try get my money back
Won't touch any saber products, I had the telescopic baiting pole. It failed on every joint on the first use, absolutely no customer care what so ever. Buy cheap buy twice.
