- With the outrage over the Marvel Legends Warbird near instant sell out, it seems like now would be a great time to revisit figure pre-orders and when is the right time to panic over missing out on something you actually want.

I think the frustrating thing is the 20% off. Yeah, I’m not worried about not finding her in stores but would’ve loved to get her for $19.99. There’s thefrustration .
They're pretty good about sales unlike say Walmart, which never has sales on figures so they might have one by the time the figure is out.
I’m just upset I didn’t get it and I tried what I thought was early yesterday. It’s frustrating.
I wonder if the lacklustre reception of the marvels movie figure line and them peg warming, meant target didn't stock as much because corporates didnt know the difference
Target wasn't keeping the figures stocked the same way either. It felt like some waves were there for a month instead of the usual 3-4 months with a few restocks.
You can also blame the eternals and peg warmers like them. They are worried about items not selling. This should be an example of them ordering more stock for sell outs like this.
They need to do retail exclusives with pulse. In the UK you will miss an item if it’s in demand but not instantly because pulse is the only key supplier
I agree. They should have some even in limited quantities on Pulse at all times.
Not a figure I am chasing. I only very lightly dabble in Legends. But I like the therapy session for people chasing it. Hope everyone finds it at good prices. Have my Luke and Iron Fist pre-ordered.

Ok why didn't the red version of the Superman plastic man wave never restocked and Target is the only store that carried the different versions wave

@@LylesFigureFiles my only gripe as always with McFarlane is the face! I’m not sure if that is supposed to be a smirk or is the lipstick just offset to the side by miss printing. Other than that he’s a pretty good figure. I wonder how it would look without the lip color or just tone it down a bit? 🤔

People are just dumb. I have never preordered a legends figure and I still find them in store and sometimes online. Also figures sell out quick due to scalpers buying multiple to resell.🤷♂️
The scalpers never win with Target since they actually stock their exclusives.
