I am a Christian and these videos have really helped me on my journey to become closer to God....I now know my enemy and understand him better. This video has given me the guidance to pray to God more directly and to understand how to ask God help me acheive happiness. I really liked how you talked about God saying you "need to be cooler to get more friends". God would NEVER expect me to be anything different than what He created me to be and as long as my intentions are for good and love I WILL BE HAPPY and provided for through HIM!!!!

Hi, I just stumbled upon this. I have lost so many friends, all my family is dead and I feel so terribly alone, I have been a recluse for a long time and trying so hard to even be active, I had a very outgoing nature until I found my son dead on Christmas day some years back, then my sister died, that is all I had left. thank you for posting this I have never heard of Swedenborg, so now I am going to study and learn as much as I can about this man. Once again thank you

Isabel, I'm so terribly sorry for these intense and painful losses that you suffered. My heart goes out to you. I hope you can find on our channel concepts that can help you find a path toward healing. I hope that you can believe that your dear ones are still with you in love and in spirit, and that you will see them again. And until then, I hope that you can find a way to rebuild a life in which you can find some happiness again. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

💯 I never seen something so accurately describe depression and evil. I literally went through what he was talking about how in the end they seek to make you kill yourself and others. I was there. All I could see in existence was the darkness. Joy had turned to ash, love was a lie. I was lonely, betrayed, used, abandoned, and still dealing with my own evil. False thoughts that turned everything negative and self deprecating. Even though others would tell me how wonderful and a good person I was I immediately thought they are lying. Why am I alone then? It was a very bad loop of negative thoughts. And in darkest hour God saved me. He told me to forgive, to understand everyone is on a journey and it is not for me to judge. Lastly to love, truly love. Love is doing good to others without ever expecting any reward. The reward is seeing them happy and growing. We are all family. Thank for this, may God bless you always.

Awesome episode - again! This subject is HUGE! Understanding this subject can completely change your life. I can only imagine how different my life would have been if I didn't constantly think that all my negative thoughts, etc. were mine. I wrestled with my thoughts forever, and I often thought that this process was a dead end that always lead to nowhere. It was always a cat and mouse game of chasing your tail. I saw the futility of chasing these thoughts down (to conquer them). I see now that those thoughts weren't mine at all, and all I had to do was throw them away. They weren't mine and I wasn't responsible for them. How much work and effort can you avoid by understanding this? Tremendous!!

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It sounds like you've really been impacted by the knowledge of where thoughts come from. I too agree that knowing the source of our negative thoughts gives us a leg up on them. Thanks so much for sharing, Alex!

I believe at this time in history, evil spirits are doing everything possible to change many of us. About a year and a half ago, I had a series of demonic dreams that showed "We are here" written on a wall. Following that upon waking up, I heard "You think you are so good that we could never effect you, but we are here" and had three scratch marks on my right front foot. (I have no pets or anything in the house that could have caused this.)
Additionally, one night I felt that a spirit was trying to make me experience what true evil feels like and momentarily I felt the kind of rush that it was and most disturbingly, no concern for personal consequences. I called on the holy spirit to envelop me and thought to the evil spirit that I was a follower of Christ and for these thoughts to disappear and they instantly did.
I believe these episodes may have started because of a video I created that detailed the ascension to the various levels of the spiritual afterlife that exist after our existence on earth. I've always tried to live a good life and thought that the fact that the evil spirits revealed themselves may have been commanded by a higher good spirit (perhaps Jesus Himself) in order to warn me of its presence.

Extremely enlightening. "Stumbled Across" THIS & So happy that I DID. Of course, I do NOT believe in "Coincidences". So coincidentally stumbling UPON THIS was indeed NO coincidence. And THESE are The Things that EVERYONE should have SOME Knowledge of. People NEED to KNOW, to UNDERSTAND & COMPREHEND these Spiritual Understandings... Because THAT is WHAT We ARE. We ARE Pure Spirit. "We are NOT Earthly Beings having a Spiritual Experience. WE are SPIRITUAL Beings having an Earthly Experience."
And WE ALL must AWAKEN. I'm on My Path of Enlightenment & Awakening. The more I awaken, the more these positively uplifting, beautifully intriguing & informatively interesting things seem to ALWAYS cross My Path. Like the saying goes: "When The Pupil is ready, The Teacher will come." =I've actually NEVER heard of Swedenborg BEFORE just NOW. So I find this VERY unfathomably interesting. THESE are The TRUTH of Things. THE REAL TRUTH. The REAL Things. NOT the fleeting, purely materialistic things, THIS World MAKES You WORRY about. EVERYDAY... "THIS too SHALL PASS" ~We are but HERE, for such a VERY short while... The Spiritual World, is The REAL World. We MUST learn to care for Our SOUL, Our Spirit, WHILE We are HERE. MOST People don't know THAT. They don't even know such things EXIST. If They don't KNOW...They just don't know. Ignorance is NOT Bliss. We MUST learn these things NOW, there is no time like the present. For instance, I am an Empath. ALMOST My Whole Life, I NEVER EVER heard of an Empath. NEVERMIND being One. ALWAYS feeling extremely different from EVERYONE Else. Super Emotionally Hypersensitive. I honestly felt crazy. So many emotions coming & going on ALL levels. EVERYDAY. ALL DAY. All I always wanted was for Everyone to be nice to Eachother, to be happy & get along. I NEVER understood cruelty. NEVER. I still don't. Never will. But because I didn't know ANYTHING about Spirituality. My Essence. MY OWN SPIRIT. My Gift was My Curse. BECAUSE I didn't KNOW. So I didn't KNOW any better... I'm 36 now, but I was 29 when a Friend "stumbled" upon information on Empath's & knowing Me, thought I was One. And Lo & Behold. I AM. So for ME, soooooo many questions were ANSWERED, in ONE single day, FINALLY. That little bit of Enlightenment, changed EVERYTHING. =So You see... These imperative things that You are teaching. The Light & Knowledge You are spreading is EXACTLY what THIS World desperately NEEDS. So You keep Enlighten Our Minds. Your doing an Excellent job. Captivating really. It's things that MY Mind can't personally fathom. So ANYONE that has ANY such Knowledge, SHOULD share it with EVERYONE. Share it with The World. God knows HOW MUCH We All NEED it.... ~Thank You so much. Many Sparkles&Blessings... God Bless You All...

I'm thankful to see this video. For 20 years Ive had panic anxiety and depression and addiction to morphine n herion. I'm 53 and had lived Every walk of life. These thoughts ARE very real and I had nightmarish dreams. Every source Ive looked into talk about these spirits . sometimes I feel like an Angel is communicating to me. Honestly I've come to believe in reicarnation and it's disturbing to feel like we're in an endless cycle but I also believe in ascension like Jesus. But it haunts me every day and night. I wanted to end it all 3 months ago I feel empty and life life is just an evil carnal pleasure. I feel like everything is wicked. Watching Disney with my granddaughter. Celebrating Holidays Eating meat I feel pitty for all animals and people who have ti indure pain WTH is going on with me. Im still self medicatting I take nurotin and if i don't take it deep depression sets in. I need to know if this is spirit attacking me.

Take heart, dear Dino. You are in pain, I can hear it. Thank you for offering the truth and for being vulnerable. I don't have answers for you, but I do trust that you are inside of a process. Swedenborg learned that each of us is inside of a process and cannot know exactly where we are. Our mistakes can dog us, keeping us in a cycle of self-hatred and self-sabotage. But God invites to seek His perspective. His mercy. His loving suggestions for how to make one, small positive change. We are not expected to move mountains, as that is God's job! :) May you keep on keeping on, my friend, and I will do the same. In the meantime, take a peek at one of these videos. You may find something useful or clarifying!

I watched this video a while back and got a lot from it. I watched it again today and got more. The quote from DP 308 was particularly helpful because it helped me to see the difference between thinking of myself as an autonomous receptacle of influx from the Lord that is separate from Him and thinking of myself as the actual thoughts and emotions that are received from Him. IOW, the idea that I am actually anything that is mine is an illusion.
This is what I get from the following quote from DP 308:
“Since this is our actual state, what is our “self”? Our “self” is not really one or another kind of receiver, since it is nothing but the quality of its own receptivity. It is not some aspect of life that is actually ours. When we say “the self,” no one hears anything but a being that lives on its own and therefore thinks and intends on its own. Yet it follows from what has just been said that there is no such self in us and that there cannot be.”
Would you agree with my observation? If so, would you word it differently?

this is actually very common in teens and young adults today. being I am still in high school, I understand how our minds tend to dwell on these evil thoughts, being we have just stepped into the world. I also noticed it's a form of a generational curse, pardon the term, being that most of the door-opening of the mind is caused by physical, emotional, verbal, and the harshest in my opinion, sexual abuse. I myself haven't been in such, though I have went thru emotional abuse from peers during school. not only do the spirits target your mind, they prey on the lack of understanding of others, which in turn causes you hurt again. I've seen kids (pardon the graphic info) with over 30 cuts up and down their arms. it's the only way they thought they could get relief. they didn't understand, and most now feel forsaken by God, so they push you away when you try to explain. I see this as almost a form of possession, or taking of their mind, being they have no freedom of choice. I ask you, no matter what faith, to pray for this generation, my generation, because we are ignorant of God, of truth, of any insight. I thank you for allowing God to work for you and the others in this foundation, I find you a blessing, being that you choose to let God work thru you. thank you and I'll keep you all in my prayers

Personally, I don’t push negative thoughts away, as I’ve found it true (for me) that “what I resist persists”. Instead, I see the thought and, if easy, reframe it in a more positive light, then let it go on its way. Otherwise I try to be thankful it came up so it could be healed by my asking God for help with it/releasing it to God. I can see it but I don’t have to be it.
Thank you for this awesome channel 🙏 🧡

Thank you for expressing that Shefo. I appreciate you articulating this. I recently had someone say that when she feels angry she tries to look at where the anger came from, rather that rejecting it out of hand. If it is because of a crossed boundary, for example, she tries to learn from it, asks God for help and is less controlled by it. Bless you for your willingness to use even the negative thoughts for your growth.

Been slowly working my way through so many of your Swedenborg videos during my holiday break which have been so helpful in reorienting a more a clear and helpful perspective on things, Curtis. I feel this is a pretty impacting and important video which would be so useful in assisting people out there who are in some kind of struggle where they feel confused or alone. Excellent stuff! Such a critical idea of accepting the reality that we are conduits for allowing what is either heavenly or hellish to anchor in our lives through daily behavioural choices and the need to practice mindful awareness of the true nature of things. Thanks so much also for sharing the parts with William and Jerry and their experiences/thoughts on things. Love hearing perspective from enlightened medical professionals on this specific topic. Definitely going to research them some more. Thanks Curtis, Karin, Matthew and friends for all you do! Much love, respect and gratitude for being there. You are so right. Many people may not get this but thought transference is a very real phenomena. Unfortunately many folks risk their careers by speaking and acting on knowledge of this and things like this. This is the case with many folks. Thanks for bringing back the previous guest who discussed his work in health fields. I have my theories of what is going on. A relative has been experiencing this for many many years and it has created nothing but annoyance in their lives and of those around them. I thank god that that this does not exist in my life to that degree. If I had these experiences such as that of the family member, I would have lost my mind a long time ago. The relative I mention is a very intelligent, very altruistic person by nature. But this phenomena has really did a number on them.
I also wanted to say I appreciate these videos. They are a refreshing look into some interesting topics. The imagery is aesthetically pleasing and the music is fitting as well. I'm an artist and may be interesting in collaborating in a sort of charitable way if that would be of interest... It's not coming from the angle of fundamentalist etremism yet it's viewpoint is oriented to practical morality. Thanks.

Thank you so very much for such wonderful insight in this video. I had gotten stuck in a whirlwind of negativity this past year…and allowed myself to be pulled into some other peoples strong chaos and negativity. I couldn't figure out why on earth these events and situations kept repeating themselves, after I'd had such wonderful success at shedding the victim and perpetual negative mindsets in the past. I was at my wits end and my toolbox of coping tools seemed empty, which is just crazy for me to even contemplate after years of living in far more loving truth and doing my best to have a servatutde attitude and desire to help others with any gifts that I felt God had given me .Last night, I sincerely prayed hard to God for help in changing my heart and mind…so that I could get back on track….and lo and behold! the help arrived first thing this morning. You see, we have a very negative person staying in our home and I could just feel the hateful vibes and I wasn't sure how to protect myself from those heavy vibes without feeling exhausted, especially since I am preparing for a hip surgery and have been in a whole lot of intense physical pain. Well, as I said, I sincerely prayed for help...when I woke up this morning…the helpful energy seemed to have come in to my aid….my big shift actually started with my husband suggesting (actually finding a channel on cable T.V.) that I tune out the uncomfortable negative vibes by listening to some music in my room. I chose some soft rock and it almost immediately lifted my spirits! It felt like a little miracle. My peace and joy begin to soar….as I continued to listen to the beautiful variety of music. As the day went on, everything just got lighter and brighter. And then, I was guided to this wonderful video!!! I've studied and even taught on this topic in the past and it was such a refresher course (and then some!) to understanding what had been going on. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Blessing, gratitude and appreciation, Lori

To RockiSoul's question and your response, Curtis : yes! I believe that within each struggle is contained the seed of our salvation. It is of the reciprocity of life at work within.
Any willingness to meet a challenge contains within it the ability to defeat the challenge. Why else are we sent challenges but for the realisation we are more than the fears that hold us back.
That said, sometimes I feel it more preferable to simply fold and cry. Don't you?
Speaking of tears, did you know that there is a 'sedative' present in tears of sorrow that is not present in tears of joy. A balm to help us bereave. That is some magic to me as I am sure it is to you.
    Blessings!

Interesting . Wherever love leads us can take ourselves into a false sense of freedom. That is very zen. Whatever we become attached to , even a truth can become dogmatic and closed minded. I was raised a Catholic , went to Catholic school. I was told by my father "If you feel guilty about something you probably are" That is , guilt and shame are used to help find heaven doesn't quite click with me. Those are some of the root causes of feeling a sense of hell on Earth.

I watched this video for the first time a few months ago, and I need to tell you that it has changed my life and possibly saved my marriage. Now, every time I get angry, cranky, or simply in a generally bad mood, I pray and ask God for help. I do the same when my husband starts remembering and telling me about bad things that happened to him in his life. In those situations, I ask God to helps us, to take away the spirits that affect us, making us feel that way or bringing those memories (according to the situation) and I ask Him to help us connect with Him and His angels. I also say the Lord’s Prayer in my mind. It’s amazing how quickly everything changes - my mood changes, my anger lifts, my husband’s conversation takes a turn and we start talking about something nice and uplifting, and as time passes, these bad moments happen less and less frequently. I wanted to tell you this so that you know the marvelous effect your videos and your messages are having on other people. This is what happened to me. I’m sure there are other people whose lives are changing for the better. Thank you guys! God bless you all.

I have been struggling too with a long list of crap, but when I saturate myself in the Bible and with the Lord Jesus on my mind I feel my soul start to reverse. But yes free will is what it comes down too and to grab on to that and apply consistent prayer, meditation, on the written Word makes a tremendous difference. I love The Remodel part! (figuratively and literally) My husband and I have been living and remodeling a 1930s homestead in the middle of cornfields (45 minutes away from work) for more than 2 years, we downgraded from a newer bigger house in the city. It's lots of hard work but we love every minute of it. It's not 100% finished and I don't think we will ever finish since we have 3 acres and too many projects but we thank God almost daily for leading us to finding this place, besides being our home it's also the place where we can recharge from the daily stress, it's our little piece of physical haven. 😊

Awesome teaching, God is life God is love.
This Scripture makes so much sense now
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" John 10:10 KJV
the thief is and are the evil hellish spirits thier whole purpose is to cause death and destruction both physically and spiritually, Jesus came to take that away from them , ive heard so many times how people have used the name of Jesus to push away evil spirits. I remember a while ago i was going through some spiritual torment and battle with demonic spirits , i decided to praise and worship my creater in heaven , i got into a deep praise and worship , i was even praying and singing in tongues, well it worked i felt such relief and peace and joy , it felt like it brought a piece of heaven out, the Lord showed me what happened spiritually while i was praising and worshipping, there were demons all around me , then as i pressed on in praise and worship , some demons ran away, others stayed around a bit but as i kept on the spiritual ground was shaking and i saw sound waves vibrating like tremendous waves they knocked away more demons that they looked like they got punched by superman, the few that were holding on to poles also got knocked away with such tremendous force i saw them get shot away for 1000s of miles at such tremendous force and speed, that was the 1st time i ever pressed in like that, it was am awesome vision this was like 10 years ago but i remember it like it was yesterday.

Previously, when I had a positive thought or impulse, immediately I'd have unproductive thoughts - You can't, You shouldn't, You'll fail, You're a chump ... - which I thought were valid part & parcels of my original thought. Now, I'm able to separate positive from negative thoughts. If I'm in doubt, I look at my thoughts thru the lens of instinct, intention & rationale, which was discussed in another episode. To get through the trials we continually have I have come up with a thing to tell myself that has helped face each new trip! It is “Lord what am I to learn from this experience “.

Well they call it wine and spirits. Hmm. Could that be evil spirits?? Great show. Thank you Soo much. I am addicted to cigarettes and have been trying to quit. Now you gave me something to reflect upon with a more positive attitude so thank you. I will be teaching my children this. This whole video is what I have been struggling with trying to find the answer of this whole battle. God bless you

I'm so glad this was useful to you! Say, have you seen our episode on spirits and addiction? It may provide more context to the circumstance you mentioned in your comment: th-cam.com/video/lMxdZiguxlI/w-d-xo.html

This is a very helpful message. We all have negative thoughts at times and are challenged by people who annoy us to distraction. When angered we oftentimes allow our thoughts to take charge; without filtering them with what we know is righteous. We need to fill ourselves with good thoughts to balance our actions. and honestly question and examine any thought that fills us with negativity and ill will. We need only to learn to detect them before they do damage.

Yes Joni, we should create habits of how to react to what happens to us.
We can think that if we had been in their situation (maybe a bad night, bad upbringing etc.) we would have acted worse..

Jerry Marzinski led me to your channel. He was on a podcast I listen to regularly (BioCharisma) and after digesting all his free content on his website, and reading through a book that he mentioned, The Presence Of Other Worlds, Swedenborg was referenced so I dug in and found you!
Fascinating stuff and thank you for all the information and the books!

We love hearing about the path that leads our viewers to us, ilivetruth, so thanks so much for sharing your story, and welcome! Jerry does such important work, and has helped so many. We're delighted to know that the ideas here and in "the books" are making a difference in your life. Bless you on your continued spiritual pursuits!
