Sherry Cervi Youth Championships 2017

Sherry Cervi originally founded the Youth Championships in Ceres, CA at Diamond Bar Arena. After several years, she decided to bring the race to her hometown of Marana, AZ. What a great event and how cool is this.. Im not from this area but Sherry was a roll model when I was growing up... This is so cool and what a great way to keep our youth involved and having fun..

This was such a fun race! I had an amazing time and I was fortunate enough to be able to place! The ground was the best ground I have ever ran on and everyone was super nice!

Sherri Cervi is a great ambassador for this sport and it's absolutely amazing how great these kids sportsmanship and horsemanship skills are. I've seen kids take everything out on their horse when they mess up cause the parents don't teach them that it's 99.99% their fault and it's .01% the horse. Horses have bad days too but you can't take it out on them.
