Him and was with him and used him a mighty way

I was born with spina bifida and sometimes people make me feel like I'm the scum of the earth and I'm less of a woman. I'm 40 years old and I've always wanted to get married to someone who is God fearing and loves him. Whenever I meet someone I'm front about my disability and if you really love God you would not talk about his creation it's not only insulting but also you're insulting to our Amazing God. And to that means you don't love him nor fear him. I'm always misunderstood talked about mistreated. Its been like this since I was in grade school and started to notice I'm different. Men would come up to me but then when they start to get to know me. They started to insult me and make me feel like I'm nothing it hurts but I try not to let get to me but words so bad. Sometimes I just want to give up waiting on God bless me with a real Christian man who would love me for who I am! I know in the bible it says it's not good for man to be alone but I feel maybe I'm the should be alone.

I am disabled. My muscles in my body are weakened and I cannot strengthen them as easily as others can. I learned to walk in a hospital when I was four. Then a few years ago I had a few bone fractures. I was off my feet for so long that I lost the strength to walk. Everything I do is difficult. I love video games and coding, but it is hard to do both. My left hand is so weak to the point where it cannot function properly, and it makes it harder to play things with basically one hand. I learned to type with one hand, but it is obviously slower than typing normally. I just can’t figure out why God allows this, but thank you for helping me understand a little better

God's sovereign glory is magnified when people living with disability have a love for God in their hearts, through faith overcome their adversities and go on to live fulfilling happy lives contrary to the oppression of any old era ignorances towards the needs of people living with disability.
It never ceases to amaze and inspire me greatly that thousands of years ago, Jesus walked the Earth, and showed us all what the Almighty GOD of Heaven and Earth would do, and as shown through the many miracles and examples, there is a beautiful pre-requesit of showing compassion towards people living with disability and providing hope. It truly is what a divine nature does, and I am so thankful for that.

Diane Francis , OF COURSE your drawing disability payments will not cause your damnation. The people who are not to eat if they don't work are those who can work, but choose not to. You cannot work. You are disabled. So, this does not apply to you.
And understand, no sin will keep a person out of Heaven but the sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ.
And for that matter, smoking is not a sin. Many bipolar and depressed people smoke because the nicotine stimulates dopamine and norepenephrine. For you, it might be more a sin for you to try to quit smoking than to keep on doing it, because it's likely that cigarettes are keeping you in a better biochemical frame of mind.

This is a very difficult topic by its very nature, but I appreciate you trying to address it. I will tell you that I am a man who was born with a High Functioning form of Autism and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and I have struggle with understanding the reason behind disabilities. I will give you my perspective:
The Scripture you gave to verify that God purposely allows people with disabilities is very true. If we look at things on a macro level, the reason for physical or mental disabilities is Adam and Eve's Original Sin in the Garden of Eden, those two being kicked out of the Garden of Eden, and entering into a fallen world tainted by sin that has warped and spun out of control into all kinds of lovely things that we see today- for example, Autism, Mental Retardation, Bi-Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Cushing's Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, etc and so forth. That is the cookie-cutter macro level response for the origin of disabilities.
Let's look at things at a micro level. You mentioned a lot of verses where God made man in His own image, how He knit every individual in the mother's womb, how He is the One who makes men deaf, blind, mute, etc and so forth. So knowingly that He knowingly allows disabilities for certain individuals. It isn't random. The reason why you and I are not slobbering over ourselves, rocking back and forth, with a very low IQ is because that wasn't apart of His plan. That was for someone else to deal with and endure. As you said- the very nature of sovereignty- He's in control, we're not.
So that leaves one of two possibilities- He allowed it to happen for no particular reason- it was just a random role of the dice, which means He isn't in control, and He does things arbitrarily. Or the other possibility is that He does things for a reason.
NOW HERE IS THE BIG QUESTION!- If disabilities are not random, if they are allowed for a reason and a purpose- what is that reason and purpose? If God doesn't allow disabilities as punishment (John 9:3 as you quoted), then what is the purpose? That's the big, big question.
And the funny thing is that we, as human beings, will never fully know. Job wanted to know why God allowed his trials and tribulations. God didn't answer Job directly, but reminded him that He was in control. Habbakuk wanted to know why God was going to let a foreign power destroy and enslave Israel. And then there are times where God directly tells people, like Jeremiah for example, exactly why He is doing what He is doing.
So I think the only conclusion we can rightfully come to, in my estimation, is that we have to come to our own conclusions as to why God allowed certain people to have disabilities, either from a Scriptural standpoint or from a personal standpoint.
For example, let's take a mentally retarded child named Sam, who was born to two, perfectly normal parents with no history of mental illness. The Bible might say that Sam's disability, from a macro level, is because of Adam and Eve's screw up in the Garden of Eden, and it is an unfortunate causality of Original Sin. But we don't know for 100% why God allowed Sam to come into the world with mental retardation. So using our human logic, we come to the conclusion that God allowed Sam to come into the world the way he did because God wanted to show Sam's parents what unconditional and selfless love is, because that's what you see in a lot of mentally retarded children- a sense of pure love. That's our human estimation of things- that's how we rationalize things because God doesn't directly state why Sam was allowed to be mentally retarded.
What are your thoughts, Jeff? What do you think?
I will tell you this, I have a lot of anger and resentment towards my disabilities and issues, and it frustrates me because I don't know why God allowed them, and even though He is sovereign over all creation and has complete control over everything, I don't think He's going to tell me- not because He can't, but because it isn't part of the plan. I don't hate God or Jesus, but I am frustrated because I don't understand.

And why don't you include the verses where your god says that people with disabilities are not treated the same as other people, that they are not welcome and allowed to offer. they are not allowed to come near the altar as they will profane the holiness?
Lev 21: 21:16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
21:17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
21:18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
21:19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
    21:20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21:21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
21:22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
21:23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
Honesty and objectivity can go a long way yet it seems that among religious people those two things are quite scarce.

Remember that during these verses God was living among the people in the Tent of Meetings. The tent of meetings and the tabernacle was sacred. It wasn’t just disable people that were prevented from entering. Only high priest were allowed in to perform the offerings to God.

    • @MrGoogelaar
      @MrGoogelaar 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@zajayrojas815 And what is it suppose to mean that the tent was sacred? What made it sacred? The idiots that wrote those nonsense had too many damn sacred stuff, too many laws, too many bizarre rituals etc.
The excuse of "in those times" is so lame, does that mean that in those times god was different than now, does it mean that in those times disabled or sick people were less important than others? Does it mean that in those times everyone was not the same before god, something that we hear constantly now? Was god prejudiced, was he discriminating against some? Not allowing them in a simple tent that somebody declared sacred?
Is it so difficult to comprehend that the illiterate fools that invented god thought that is the way a god must act and therefor decided to put those words in their imaginary god's mouth?
It is the year 2020, do we really need to ponder about the nonsense some illiterate sheep herders thought up a couple of thousand years ago? And we are hoping to find intellectual life elsewhere in the Universe?
God gave orders that sick and disabled people may not enter a sacred tent, and people expect others must respect their religion, and they wonder why they get ridiculed? Sacred tent? Wow, everyday it gets more damn laughable.

All we are doing is supernatural posturing from a human perspective, no less on basically a God in human form.
While Jesus never had any blemish or disability in our human sense because he was "perfect and blameless", there were humans that didn't understand him not due to source intelligibility but reciever intelligibility.
The recievers belief was like the sensitivity in a radio and its antennae.
God will leave people to there own delusions. I mean if humans don't believe they will naturally follow something else they think is more important in comparison to the standard of TRUTH Jesus is.
As Jesus was, is and forevermore be the only representation of reality where God showed himself as human.

I know it's been almost 10 years since you did this video, but I have a question, and hopefully, if you see this comment, you might respond to it.
I've been a Christian for 15 years, and I evangelize, but I've never evangelized to a person with mental disabilities; not that I'm aware of anyways, and I just wanted to know where evangelism fits in with people who are mentally incapacitated in some way. Or does it?
Is it necessary to share the Gospel with someone who is a special needs person, such as a person with severe retardation or who has Williams Syndrome or Down Syndrome, or do special needs people automatically go to heaven? One verse that comes to mind is Psalm 116:6, which says:
"So merciful, this God of ours! The LORD protects those of childlike faith;…"
I love God and I love people, all people, and because of that love, I want to reach as many people as I can with the Gospel while I'm still here so that they can have the same hope of heaven as I do. But does evangelizing also include those with special needs?
If so, what is the best approach to sharing the Gospel with someone? I do it using the 10 Commandments, which is how I got saved, but is that the best approach to sharing the Gospel with special needs people? This approach to evangelism, by the way, includes talking about heaven and hell, which, I believe is the most biblical and effective way to sharing the Gospel, but is it the best way to share the Gospel with special needs people?
I would love to hear back from you, Dr. McNair and get your feedback to my question, if possible.
Be well, stay safe, and God bless you.

@dinerdashing This is such a great comment/question! I know we can rely on the Lord as he would not create people who are unable to respond to the gospel and then condemn them. So I trust God. I do try to help people understand the gospel to the degree I am able. I just reposted a picture that I use on my disabledchristianity.blogspot.com blog that you might find helpful.
But overall, my responsibility is to love people independent of their personal characteristics, hopefully demonstrating the Love of Christ for them.
An interesting book to look at is Fowler's Stages of Faith which looks at levels of faith development from that of an infant to people like Dr. King across 6 stages of faith development. I use this approach to attempt to meet people where they are in terms of their development and to the degree I am able try to help them to grow in their faith.

      Hi Dr. McNair!
Thank you so much for responding to my question. It's been my experience that most people with a TH-cam channel don't reply to questions from videos that were made years ago for whatever reason. It was very kind of you that you did. I appreciate it. Thank you so much and thanks also for the link you sent me to the article you mentioned in your post. I'm going to save it right now and read it later on at my leisure.
Thanks again for your kindness. Be well, stay safe, and God bless you. 😃

I was wondering if you had any tips or a system on how I could understand the Bible and remain consistent working together with my disabilities .. thank you ! Also if anyone else also has tips/ideas or knows of anything that might help , I'd really appreciate it if y'all would let me know ...thank you !

Hello Blue Echo. I have a ton of disabilities myself I would even include some as learning. I have been with a church since I was 18( am now 42). I’ve never found any other church like it but if you are willing to go and check them out on TH-cam they are called Shepherds Chapel. They read verse by verse and explain in great detail. Also recommend tools to better understand the Bible in great detail. Please give it a shot you will not be disappointed.

However, in the Pistic Sophia, the Lord Jesias states that kharmic debt (also taught by the Buddha, Makhimsih, one of the Twelve Sons of GOD) results in those who were particularly sinful being cast into a body halt and lame in their next incarnation. It is punishment. We pay for everything. Blessings - RevDrD/Ministry

Like in the book of Job, God should have answered the questions, so that we would understand more fully. People say that we would not understand. Well, God can give us spiritual understanding to utilize for our lives. Seriously ,why is God so passive? Nobody has answered me.

I've always loath my disability. It feels like a punishment for my past live sin. I once had a dream where i saw a burning village and i was hiding somewhere. I've come to conclusion that i might have started that fire, so then i was punished for that. Though i don't know if that was just a dream or i am wrong. I've wanted to end my life multiple times cuz i couldn't bear the discrimination from other people. I even wanted to beat people to know my vanity and resentment but i could not. I hope that in The future generations, people start appreciate other despite their cultural etchinity and disability.

Like u I wonder sometimes if it is a pushment for being a dark soul if you will.... I'm not saying I'm a devil worshiper... But I'm not a GOOD person.... I always think to myself maybe this is just a test and if I take this on like warrior and love God I can finish my debt to God and be free..... We all have a debt or burden and this is part of ours god choose this for us just bare and be proud because this is what he wants. It's hard to live in a disabled body.... It's like driving a disabled car.... But we do it everyday just like it's hard for a perfect man to die on the cross for sin.... But he did. ....have a good one bro....

This seems to be more about disabilities that one was born with.. what about disability from injury? It would make sense to me about it being a punishment as I fell down a dark elevator shaft because I was drunk and cursing out "ghosts" in an abandoned building.. I am now t-10 and deaf for life and I live with frustrating pain. Maybe I AM being punished and maybe I was saved as I have changed greatly and now await our Lord's return~

I am very sorry about your dad and I want you to know that I have also felt very lost at times in my faith due to circumstances. God does not promise that this life will be easy on the contrary. Even his son came to suffer. We all have battles to fight. I believe these circumstances test our faith and are used to bring us closer to God. Regardless of anything that happens or doesn’t happen in your life just know that God loves you very much and will be by your side through the good and bad. Whatever you do, don’t loose your faith in him. Instead come closer to him. Ask him to guide you and give you the strength that you need to overcome your battles.

God loves people more than we can imagine. The Bible says God IS love. So he would not create someone who has no opportunity to respond to him and then condemn that person. At least that is what I understand from the Bible. That is how I would respond to your question. There are so many things in life that I do not understand. But Proverbs 3:5 tells me to trust God and not lean on my own understanding. That is often hard but that is what I try to do.

    • @WDBsirLocksight
      @WDBsirLocksight 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Strictly and simply disability as an eternal issue is modified by insight. In disabilities you could apply the "child of understanding" grace model.
I think there are three things:
      (a)
instantaneous and continuing salvation with inclusion of grace and forgiveness. (If you don't ask for forgiveness you'll always be on the fence and be "spit out".)
      (b) Insight - if intact then I apply what I say to everybody "you are aiming for here - a limit in which skill meets heart intention - and God will take care of the rest
      (c) heart intention tied to belief (though seperate from "good intentions")
I often wonder where God's sufficient grace kicks in.
      mmm....🤔

Give me eternal hell I would rather be there than suffering your kinds company for eternity.
Say it with me. “ we doth deny the works of the Holy Ghost “
Did you say it? Did you even think it? Your in trouble now. Your weak assed god don’t like people thinking that. Hahahaha, pathetic fucking god!
