- One of the most versatile implements you can attach to your tractor is a box blade. In this video we will go through all the best practices you should know before operating a Yanmar box blade. Box blades have scarifiers to break up soil along with a front and rear blade for tasks such as grading landscape, cleaning up construction sites, or smoothing gravel roads.
I recently bought the 325, absolutely love this tractor. It is so well thought out. I got the bucket, pallet forks, 60" underbelly mower and grapple. Next implement will be the landscape/rock rake, then the box blade.
The mower cuts beautifully, like a golf green.
I am totally sold on yanmar!
Anyone know if the 424 has a free float for when using the back blade with snow? I've been using an old Ford 9n for snow because that does free float without tearing everything up.
Yanmar box blades were made by Woods. Who makes this one as its clearly not Woods? Thanks
ı have a ask .
ı don't see lift automatic ?
They don't show how to adjust the box blade from side to side! When I check my Yanmar tractor that adjustment does not seem possible, yet on other tractors it does. I wanted to adjust my box blade so as to push snow from one side to side. I checked my tractor again and was able to adjust it to one side. I'm going to try it at next snow storm.
Yanmar tractors come standard with one adjustable lift link, installed above the right lower link. This adjusts the implement from side to side.
Will this angle the box blade so I can use it like a snow plow?@@YANMARAcademy
I think I’m just going to use my boxblade the way it was intended to be used. It doesn’t seem realistic to use it like a snow plow that pushes snow to the side. What do you think?
