Bad Religion..Thank you for being, first heard you when i was 11,made me what i am today..will always and forever be my favorite band
My older daughter (six years) was recently promised a reward for something she did or said or drew (can't remember now) and her first reply was-- let's go to a movie together. And I said, sure, we'll check what's on and we can go. A day or two later, however, she asked me whether instead of a movie she could get a Bad Religion album... and she picked The Dissent of Man. She loves it.
So cool
Love it
damn. she's well raised. good job.
Hopefully you took her to the movie, too. Awesome kid!
Its hard as a Christian to try to explain to my friends who arent into punk that i like a band called Bad Religion.
Yeah, they are not ardently anti-religious or anti-spiritual. A close look at the lyrics make that clear. The logo is unfortunate though.
They are Bad Religion; I would say that's ardently anti-religious. Religion has a way of defining what would otherwise be up to the individual, and honestly belief is only important or meaningful when a person figures it out for himself (or herself).
Happy Guy by NOFX ???
Hey man. I have church on Saturdays and skip Sundays :)
or, for younger people, christian parents.
Bad Religion has several of awesome songs but this one hits different, idk it has such nice vibe singing along
This might sound weird, but now that they've released the brilliantly solid True North, I can enjoy the poppier albums like this a lot more. True North was the reassurance that BR can still kick fucking ass.
PrinceOpana i agree 100 percent. Im glad they are more deverse. Im not buying three more of this kinda album though. Still dig this song.
PrinceOpana - I like this album a lot more than true north, but both are good for sure. Brooks is a wizard
This album is so fucking good all the way through, but this has to be my favorite song off it
Great song for how I feel about my father
they get older and also his sound get matured ... they are still perfect ...
I love this song
remember those times when punk rock albums never had songs over 2 minutes and 20 seconds exept for that 1 song that had almost 3 minutes?
One of the best songs. Maybe you have to feel it, i do.
that sweet solo 1:05-1:18
That's Mike Campbell's solos (Tom Petty's right-hand guitar dude from 1970-2017). He also plays the solo work on "Los Angeles Is Burning" as well.
Reminds me of the 90's radio songs. I mean, i like it.
To clear up the pop thing this song has mike cambell from tom petty and the heartbreakers playing the solo
(he also played on Los anglles is burning)
que hermoso tema por favor
This has such a 90s feel
i felt like a total ass when i went to the show in baltimore a few months back and only knew a couple of songs from these guys, i was so set on seeing rise against instead i ended up underestimating how amazing these legends are,
Can't blame you Rise Against us fucking amazing too
Simplesmente show BAD RELIGION
I love Bad Religion. Just saw them last night but i have to say that the beginning part sounds just like the beginning of "The Difference" by The Wallflowers lol
💚💚💚
Yeah this is a great song. I didn't like it much at first, but it really grew on me.
bel disco....mi fate star bene con poco.
This song sounds very similar to “The Difference” by the Wallfowers
@jsh020 I'm entirely jealous that you saw my favorite two bands live.
This song sounds like it could have been on Dag Nasty's Field Day! Dig the clean yet crunchy rhythm sound.
The best
@Nazuiko I saw them in Boca, really good show.
A real great song!!!
that album cover is trippy
Just how I feel about my ex. Missing her is like kissing cyanide. I'm glad I found someone better
saw them last Friday in San Diego
show was amazing
crowd was fucking amazing
that's just how we are in San Diego
fuckin awesome song, i love it.
Aguante El Bordo
I miss old Bad Religion, but this song is cool too :)
+HBTKK i understand what u mean, but they can't play the same shit like 30 years man, they will evolve and their music will also evolve with them, and it's still amazing imo :)
Bad Religion didn't sellout :)
You're misunderstanding me. I'm a hardcore Rise Against fan, and I love all their albums. But RPM to me will always be their number 1. It's just my favorite because the songs reach me more personally than any of others. Appeal is a great album, but the songs (to me at least) seem less though out musically. They're a bit more straightforward and don't offer as much from a musicians standpoint. Don't think that I don't love the album, because I do.
Why are you talking about rise against in the comments of a bad religion song?
Por algum motivo estranho....esse som me fez lembrar algum som do Wallflowers....KKKkkkkkkkk....
Hey Greg, you ever need a night off mate I'm good to fill in! 🤣🤟
It's not raw and aggressive any more. It seems way to radio friendly in comparison to their old shit, which was fucking great. Same thing happened with those other bands you listed. They got old and they lost their punk sound. Punk makes a statement by not sounding mainstream. And it seems that with age this fades from these kinds of bands. Although, I do agree that they deserve credit for their past awesomeness. I fucking LOVE their first album.
@WhatSheWanted No, it doesn't pop. It's not in 3D. Tested it with red-cyan glasses
I guess its something different. Little more... jumpy and lighthearted in sound? I like it. Perhaps not my favorite of theirs, but its good to know they can branch out a bit too.
@sevenmarcg no i realize bands need to change music, im a strong believer in that, its just that the music they are getting into isnt that good, endgame was a hell of alot better than appeal to reason was, thats for sure, they need to take some time off and realize what made them so great in the first place and try to cader to both sides, they got that perfect mix with suffer and witness, they need it back
Yeah I was soo huge into Rise Against because they were 88 Fingers Louie at one time minus the new singer. Anyways yeah Bad Religion still owns.
@WhatSheWanted works! haha they should make BR glasses
People give this song some shit because of the popoy nature of it. I think bad religions strengh is how diverse their catalog is (minus that little electronic album, never talk about thay one.).
i actually enjoy that album too
reeeeee locooo wacho
Brasil 2024...
Cyanide and happiness show (?) ::-D
Nice!:P
@jsh020 That's not really fair to say. All musicians change their sound at some point in their career. Their morals and beliefs are still the same, which in my opinion, is what really determines if a band is punk. Sure, Revolutions Per Minute is 1000 times better than Appeal to Reason, but they're still punk.
que buen tema la puta madre, me trae demasiados recuerdos
Too bad Epitaph doesn't appreciate Bad Religion enough to make ACTUAL videos for their songs. Any elementary school kid could make a video out of the track and the album cover.
i put on 3d glasses from the movies and looked at the cover and nothing happened. XD aaawwwww

The road to you is paved right through with bloody good intentions
And missin' you is like kissin' Cyanide
That was stuck in my head all day today and I haven't heard this song in months. Odd
@jsh020 But if they had to open for any band, i'm glad it was rise against. one of the only reasonable punk bands left that formed recently
@jsh020 Like you said Endgame was a hell of a lot better than Appeal. That's entirely true. And to me, it's seems like Appeal was sort of an experiment that they didn't completely do right, and Endgame seems like what they really wanted to turn into. But it isn't fair to say they aren't punk still, because the sound isn't really what makes music punk. It's the message. Bad Religion sounds completely different than when they first started, but they're still punk.
@sevenmarcg yah but its a shame that bad religion has fallen so far they need to open for a band now
@jrack13 who cares man, everyone wants to be rich. you gotta make a living, support your family, its the way the world works
The solo always reminds me of guitar hero |||
Went to see these fuckers in Champaign with Rise Against and Four Year Strong. FUCKING GREAT SHOW :D
I gotcha. I don't agree with the general consensus then, because I happen to like the album a lot.
I love all of BR's albums except Into the Unknown. That was the only one I just couldn't get into. This album is amazing though.
Bad Religion sounds pop punk on this song
Lol never realized that similarity until now. Oh well, guess there's only so much you can do with power chords.
@ratmrulesyou1 hehe i understand what you are meaning, but Bad Religion would never want to be someone's religion! Cheers mate!
What the fuck, why is this song censored?
@kylebr0
Maybe you can see with the right glasses in 3D^^
Bad Religion is pretty good at least. =D
you mean, Rise Against opened up for Bad Religion? What kind of world is this? no disrespect to Rise Against, amazing band also, but oh man.
@jrack13 im not emo whatsoever. good insult
welcome to indonesia
@bricro87
@nathanss28 really? BR have been original and very much punk for a very long time. The subject matter, speedy beat, and disregard for making "pop" is what makes them soething special in the musical atmosphere today. To say only one of thier albums were awesome is a shame on your part, you're not a fan of BR so save the bs.
I dont know 4 you girls and boys, butt to me it's sound pretty much as a openeyer bad realationship song.....
@bricro87 they are not 30 years old dude! ahahha
Is it me or does the singer sound like an older Mark Hoppus? Nevertheless good song (:
Don’t you know Greg’s nickname is “an older Mark Hoppus”?
@sevenmarcg they really are not punk anymore
i love RA and all but they need to go back to roots
@0Sneux0 oh my god i hope youre joking...
6th avenue heartache ? O.o
no, "the difference" - same
Good song, but what happened to punk rock?
i think this is great! but it seems that br and sd are trying to sound the same... or am i just on crack?
I never really liked this album, I really just like the older stuff.. but it's ok, I guess
i put on 3D glasses. didnt work :/
mmm not bad but I don't like the pop edge this album has it rubs me the wrong way. I love when Bad Religion do fast songs even their slower songs are good as long as they have an edge to them but this album is too happy I don't know it bothers me.
im not trying to diss them for the sound change, as a musician i understand that music isnt about pleasing other people. but personally, i dont like this shit in comparison to their old stuff. at least true north made up for it.
It's hard as a Christian to do anything requires any kind of intellectual fortitude.
@3dumdogs Metallica blows.
@ratmrulesyou1 gay
hmmmm this is too sided to rock and way less punk i dont know.....
i like metallica's cyanide better
lame
