This is my Favourite BR Lineup... I think some won't agree with Brooks.. But what the hell... for me it is... although I saw them on february I they still kick ass no matter what... I hope Greg comes back ASAP... one can only wish....
My first exposure to BR was pre-Brian Baker, and the only time I've seen them live was the New America tour, so this is not necessarily the nostalgic lineup for me, but I agree. The Process of Belief and The Empire Strikes First are my favorite BR albums. I'm also amazed at how much the sound of the band changed just from Hetson leaving. I had always considered Gurewitz and Baker to be the more proficient guitarists, but wow, Hetson's impact is fucking unmistakable in hindsight. As for Brooks, I understand the criticism, but I respectfully disagree (though my opinion of Bobby Schayer has also risen over the years--when he was in the band, I thought Pete Finestone had been the better drummer, but I no longer think that).
Greg should have numerous future "... biggest solo[s] of his life." tho' he nailed it per usual. Tough to hear it with all the other strings but I digress because the group's great here! Albums 'Suffer' or 'New Maps of Hell' sort of tie for first-best to me mostly. Some songs not on those albums are still marginally more significant for me however, for personal reasons i.e.: 'Modern Man', 'Pessimistic Lines', 'Dearly Beloved', 'Shades of Truth', 'Skyscraper', and 'News From the Front'.

I like the fact that Cyanide is being played slightly faster, this is a really great song but was played a little too slow on the album

Seen them with Pete drumming, I have to say Brooks versions are much better. He is the better of the BR drummers
couldn't agree with you more red
@redbattle whats ur 1st fave br record?
Somebody should tie Greg's right hand behind his back before he goes on stage and see if he doesn't spontaneously explode.
Haha xD u maniac ;)
I personally like true north and new maps of hell. This one is ok tho
