OMG, thank you so much Ema for this video it was so helpful.. Major Gems. Just one question, how do I start everything to test the workflows I just created?
Awesome! I'm glad it's helpful. If your inquiry process has a lead capture form or scheduler + form, submitting the form or booking a call would be the best way to start testing the workflows. Alternately, you can manually create a project in Dubsado with a test client, and apply the workflow manually to that project to start testing it out.
@@tenacityclean add a short answer element to the form, once added, make sure it's mapped to 'Client Email Address ' - you can select that from dropdown list on the left hand side
Hi Ema!! Thank you so much for making this extremely helpful video tutorial! I wanted to ask where might I locate the link for the Google document containing the email template that we can download? I do not seem to see it here. I appreciate any help that you may provide! 💗
Hi Ema, I don't quite understand how to "start" the Booking Workflow. I see that it was added as "To-do" in the Inquiry Workflow, but how/what needs to happen for the Booking Workflow to kick-off?
If you do it like the video, it would be a manual task. You would go to that clients project --> then go to workflows --> and select the booking workflow from the dropdown and click "apply".
Me again Ema, do you offer consultations? I have most of the elements done already (lead capture form, canned emails, package, project status, scheduler, etc) done and I've attempted to set up my workflow but it's not working and I'm out of patience lol. I think I just need an expert set if eyes like yours to go through what I've done and pinpoint the errors/holes. Thanks.
If you want, you can hop on a discovery call and we can take a look at it. Might be something really small that’s causing it to not work. www.emakatiraee.com/call
I find it easier to have it all in Dubsado just because everything is in once place and Dubsado can track payments and send reminders for me. But it does depend a lot on what you're selling.
@@berebadness got it. Yes, for sessions Dubsado packages would be easier to use. There are different ways do sell them: proposal with a contract and invoice OR you can also use a scheduler that ties to an invoice.

Hi Ema, thanks so much for your helpful videos! Quick question, what's the Contract category in Forms intended for? I originally set up my coaching agreement and NDA as separate contracts but quickly realized I couldn't send them both at the same time in the same email so I combined them into one contract. And come to realize now that I should have set them up as a Proposal? I'm so confused. Also, is the reason for including it in the Proposal so that you the client can get invoiced at the same time too? Again, I'm so confused so thanks in advance for your insight!
Hi! The contract category is perfect for your contract and NDA, so you can keep them in that category. The proposal category is for forms that serve as a proposal - a form where clients can select a package (or multiple packages). Once they’ve selected it, the system knows what invoice to generate based on their selection. If you haven’t yet, download my free proposal template. It’ll give you an idea of what content goes into a proposal. www.emakatiraee.com/dubsado-proposal-template A lot of coaches send a 3 in 1 form that attaches the contract and the invoice to the proposal. Once someone fills out the proposal they are taken to the contract and then to the invoice. Hope this helps!
@@emakatiraee I thin the 3 in 1 may be better suited for me but the issue is that I don't need a Proposal per se because on my Discovery Call for this particular workflow, my prospect indicates if they're moving forward or not. If they are, I just need tonsend them the Client Agreement, the NDA and an invoice. I'm guessing I still need to send a Proposal by Dubsado standards so the other parts of the workflow (Agreement, NDA & Invoice) work? Really wish I could send them without having to do a Proposal.
Forgot to mention is that another reason indont need a Proposal per se is because there's only one package option for this particular service I'm offering. So there aren't "package options" for the prospect to choose from. Hope this makes sense :-)
@@carontmatthew no you don’t have to use a proposal if it doesn’t fit your needs. If you already know what package they want after the call you can trigger a contract and invoice.
