If you want to continue using Acuity vs Dubsados scheduler, you can do the following: - when they fill out the lead capture, send them an email with a link to your Acuity scheduler to book a call. OR - add the acuity scheduler link as a redirect link when the lead capture is submitted. The only issue is that Acuity will require a form as well, even if it's only their name and email. So it might be a bit redundant. The other option is to use Acuity, and then use Zapier to send the information to Dubsado. So anytime someone books a call in Acuity (or certain calls), Zapier can take that information and create a new client/project in Dubsado for you.

Would love to use Dubsado scheduler but I also have events so I need multiple ppl to be able to sign up for an event and Dubsado scheduler can't do that one. Thank you again SO much💜

If you're feeling like Dubsado is too complicated, then it's probably not the right software for you. It does have a steep learning curve and takes people quite some time to learn all the aspects of the software. Because of that, I've told some people to not use it or switch to it. What are the alternatives? There are other options like Moxie or 17Hats and depending on your industry there are some specific ones you can use. There's also the option of using multiple pieces of software like DocuSign + Wave + Proposal softwares, not the same thing obviously - but it does the trick for some people.

Awesome! I'm glad it's helpful. If your inquiry process has a lead capture form or scheduler + form, submitting the form or booking a call would be the best way to start testing the workflows. Alternately, you can manually create a project in Dubsado with a test client, and apply the workflow manually to that project to start testing it out.

I found that I have to watch a little bit of all of your videos to gain and understanding of how these CRM systems work before I can even begin programing my own. I like how you embedded the Discovery into your webpage, and booked the zoom call with the intake form. But after the zoom call, then how do you initiate the contract signing and the work start flow? Do you manually start it inside of Dubsado?

@@DarrinJackson76 exactly. My inquiry workflow is taken care of with the scheduler with the lead capture form attached to it. After each discovery call, if they decide to work with me I manually start the booking workflow which sends them a proposal with a contract and invoice attached to it. It also sends reminders after a few days and if they haven't submitted their proposal in 7 days it moves them to a "lost" status.

Hi Dana! I don't think you're doing anything wrong - what you're describing seems like the right way to use the group scheduler. You just have a lot of options for clients to choose from, which again, isn't wrong. The one thing you could do is use a proposal (maybe a public proposal?) vs. a scheduler so they can choose the length of their session as a package and you can place the location as a dropdown question. But that would mean having a manual step after they submit the proposal for you to select the workflow with the right scheduler/package based on their selection. It means still having multiple schedulers plus multiple workflows, it just might be a tidier way to showcase the options to your clients. The main downside to this option is they would be signing up and paying before they can select their session date, which might be an issue for you. What you're describing is something I think a lot of people need. Hoping this type of conditional logic is in the works soon.

Canva has a background remover for images you can use before you create the gif - then just download with transparent background. I haven't used a background remover for an already created gif.

If your photo is covering the entire area of the graphic you won't see the timing option. Slide the photo over a tiny bit till you can click the slide/graphic itself - and you'll see the time icon and set the timing and move the photo back to where you want it.

Yes! You can do this with a regular proposal format - without using the custom invoice route. You just need to use the package smart field for quantity which will let your clients select the number of items they want to add to their total. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to edit the confirmation email before sending it out. You can use the ‘prevent bookings less than X hours’ option to make sure they aren’t booking too soon. And use the buffers before and after the appointment to protect your time to make sure your appointments don’t overlap. Hope that helps!
