Cannot understand how not a pro will use them in an Ironman. I ride the Shiv Sworks. I use the fuelcell bag all the time. It's only 650cc BUT I can fill it on the go from other bottle. When it's hot I drink 3-4 750cc bottles. When now, with the new frame it's 1.5L but if you need more you have to stop the ride, get down from the bike and fill it. I really wanted to upgrade to the new model but this is something that is much less effective for me.
Specilized made a big mistake here. They let guys in the wind tunnel dictate it way to much and whilst it may be "stunning" and have great numbers in the wind tunnel its just not practical for athletes to reach back and fill that stupidly big water tank up. That cost lucy charles big at kona when she lost a bottle reaching back there. So much so that Tim Don doesnt even use the stupid thing. He uses a water bottle wedged between his seat and the water tank, plus another bottle between his arms. They need to talk to the athletes more and not the wind tunnel engineers
I’m still not sure why anyone needs disc brakes on a tri bike. I’ve done so many races were I braked once at the end of the bike leg. It just seems pointless. I guess for training purposes it makes sense.

You'd pick up a bottle from an aid station. Then replace your bta bottle with it. Repeat as necessary.

Are discbrakes an advantage on a TT-bike? They weigh more and I don't think there are many heavy brakingzones on an long TT
