If your Whatsapp Contacts not showing up try this in order to to start seeing your contacts again.

Great video Ricardo. Just updated from a S5 to a S10+ and used SmartSwitch to transfer my data but my WhatsApp contacts didn't make the jump. Your video allowed me to spot that the 'phone' toggle in the WhatsApp settings was set to off. Once I turned that on and did the refresh as in your video my contacts were restored perfectly. If you're adding someone from overseas, be sure also to add the international exit code. for example for Australia its 0011

Very informative I tried this I'm going to see if it's going to work because I already had permissions on my WhatsApp but the phone was disabled.
