I love how the foil commons and uncommons you call garbage are worth more than a bunch of the foil rares you're happy to see

People seem unaware that the prices for Mystery Booster versions of cards are significantly lower than the originals. Foil Wear//Tear is one people keep commenting on, but the Mystery version is like 1.25 vs 13.00 for the original

@@joelturner9017 differences in cards? people know. there is a slight difference in the card info in the bottom left/. I assume there could be differences in the paper too but I have not seen a mystery box card irl so idk.

You keep skipping to the same section of the pack like it's an uncommon slot but that's not the structure of these... I think it'd be more interesting to slow it down instead of skipping so many cards.

also, have you ever considered doing one video where we could see your face while opening a box. maybe just mystery boosters. or ultimate masters. maybe modern horizons, idk. just like a picture in picture small corner streaming video box. because seeing your eyes bulge out and spitting on the premium cards you pull would be awesome. not all the time, like if it was a great video add the picture in picture, if it was a bad video, don't. just a suggestion.

From Mystery is a 13dollars card. In Europe it's not even 5€ .
The value is a lot less. The foil Scourge of the throne mthic that was over 100$ is like 13$ for this reprint. When I opened my first box and tcg hadn't adjusted to the mystery set. I pulled 2 crypts and was going crazy.
The weird thing I've noticed in this set is that they seem to clump the same rares in the same packs. Three-five packs in this video had the same double rares as packs I got from a mystery booster box. It's a strange effect
hey rudy! i think the meta in creating the mystery booster set is to target you individually. you can't really buy it bulk, but you're going to open it. it's testing your memory and stoking your nostalgia. your reactions are priceless. i hope you get more boxes to open, that would be great.
I have a theory that the mystery box is NOT a reprint. WotC did a mass box opening of an assortment of different sealed boxes from over the years, added a few chase mythics, and put a little silver planeswalker stamp on the bottom left corner of each card. Otherwise the date at the bottom of the card would say 2019 and not the original date. The thing is: if this theory is true, it actually increases the value of the set in my mind. WotC did the same thing by inserting reserved list cards into packs of original Zendikar (without the little foil stamp), so I think this product should age very well. So yes. I do think it is worth it to buy one of these boxes.

Pyretic Ritual is great as a source of temporary ramp. Red is great at powerful, but short-term, mana ramp spells; green is better with long-term mana ramp. They're a nightmare combined.
The water's edge card you pulled from kamigawa set is worth about 80 bucks in foil alone. Nice hit?
there is a better version of Pyretic Ritual from Kamigawa which is the same card but with +SPLICE into arcane

Pyretic ritual is essential in modern gifts storm. With goblin electromancer or baral on the field it cost R instead of 1R.

Pyretic Ritual is pretty good in my mind, but I play Izzet storm in Modern. That's a unique thing I've noticed about Mystery Boosters, if you get lucky with your pulls you can actually draft a storm deck. Storm The Warrens, Grapeshot, Manamorphose, and other mana source effects were reprinted in this set.
Storm is a dumb mechanic that shouldn't have ever existed but I love playing it. Any card that goes well in a storm deck is cool in my mind.

Original printing of Scourge of the Throne in foil is around $67+. The Mystery Booster foil is only $10. Blows my mind how much people will pay for the originals.

Skips also several uncommons in some packs.
I think the only thing that would have made these valuable would be to make the Mystery Box set legal in Standard. But only if the card had the Mystery Box symbol on the bottom left of the card. OG versions aren't legal.
