“I don’t like when other people try to keep me safe. In my mind that’s my job.” What a friggin quote. Love it
New to
personal responsibility? 🤔
Yeah, you got to love that upper Midwest wisdom.
@@AlwaysAwesome001🎉
Ask a military veteran about that, I've have numerous friends that I could trust with my life, others that would laugh if something happened

Wow, can't believe how deep you get into the internal workings of that harvester. It's great that you're willing to share your experience and secrets for modifying your combines to reap more.
“I’m not doing anything now” - Chet
“I can tell.” - Eric
😂😂😂
Eric, I think you deserve more credit. You contributed a lot in this video so good job. Your mechanical abilities and humor underrated.
Great video guys. I always enjoy watching Chet and Erik work together and hear their narrative on the projects their working on. Plus their back and forth humor with one another, Add Brody and you have three very hard working young men that love and enjoy what they do for a living.
Chet: “Iam not doing anything now”. Eric: I can tell.”😂😂
So close to going over 400,000 subscribers let’s get the Larsons over 400,000 subscribers! They have such a good wholesome family and freinds. My grandkids can watch this and are checking everyday for a new post. They are in 3rd and 2nd grade. Thank you Larsons for having a trusted site and great program that can be trusted!!❤
4 miles away is nice. Sometimes when the wind is blowing and the snow is moving it is a pain. Flooding is a pain also.
Good job on the sign off Eric! 👍🏻
AWESOME video guys. thank y'all..stay warm
Well done BOYS‼️ 👏👏 I like these longer ones and you all do it so well‼️ Did Brody know what the job was today? Because I believe he might have been inside instead of CHET!! I don’t know 🤷♀️ or there was no cleaning today. No all of the Dream Team + Dougo does an excellent job‼️
Wouldn't rotating the huge roller and maybe 1 million other jobs be easier if you were using both hands, arms...? Would this job be better suited for dwarfs? Great videos, keep the film rolling - and...Action!
I am amazed at what you guys are able to accomplish but I really can’t believe you pulled all that stuff out the back and never knocked your hat off.
Going from 300k to 400k subscribers pretty darn quick! Congratulations! How your don’t have 3 million subs I’ll never understand. You are not far my favorite TH-cam and that includes the whole crew. My family and even my employer knows when I get a Larson farm video notification I’m off the clock lol but it’s true
Love it when you and the BS work together. I appreciate your genuine connection. Thanks guys. Keep on enjoying working together.
Just put salt block to keep drain from freezing have small ones at farm stores nice combine
See, that’s smart thinking.
Nice dig there B.S. @ 9:50! 😂
Thanks Chet & Eric for the clear explanations of why you do the mods & delete’s! 👍
I can’t wait to see “what coming I’m the future”!!!
Erik’s math on his overtime had me crying 😂😂 sounded like Ricky from TPB HAHAHAHAH
Eric, Brody and other non-family employees. I applaud you for your “preventative inspection” of farm/ business problems as they develop. As an owner, it is invaluable to our company to have pro-active employees spotlight and fix areas that can become huge farm issues. The bottom line appears safe at Larson Farms
Don’t forget to set the tracks to the proper air pressure. ;).
New Segments: "Caffeine Sunrise with Chet" and later in the day "After Hours with The Big Swede." Go get it boys!
You do have to wonder aboutnthose feeder house chains.
Adjustment maxed out in 300 hours?
Chet thought they looked old.
Was there obvious wear on the links already?
Yes very strange
I’m not a farm (a logger) but do enjoy your vids. Eric got a few snaps🤳to respond to 😂
Eric you are a truly underrated!!! Simply by caring enough enough to put that cap on shows how good of a guy you truly are.
for the love of god please wear some hearing protection you'll thank yourself in 20/30 years lol
Really!! Stealing Zacks “snap the fingers “ thing? Wtf
Eric and with living closer. Well Eric you could move into the upstairs in the shop 🤷🏻♂️😉😂🤣
Great video again. Your crews ability to fix or modify equipment is amazing.
Thanks for another great video Chet and Eric.
It was most interesting video.
Wow. Lots of work to change the new combine over to the mods you want on the combine. You and Eric had your work cut out for you, that is for sure.
But you are getting it done and putting the mods on the new combine you want. Nice work Eric and Chet.
I must say you do really change things on the combine before you use it. Wow.
Eric, your four runner, looks neat with the tracks on it. Nice job Eric.
About it I guess.
Thanks for everything you guys. Was interesting combine work. Take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Great content..I’ve never deconstructed a combine but I feel I’m better prepared now. 😊 thanks
Awesome video guys.
Eric, no the gloves didn't make you look fat, it was those m&m's 😂
Keep warm up there.
🚜🚜🚜
Bright burst of mid-winter sunshine when Larson Farms posts !!! or maybe it's Erik's hair...
Thanks for sharing. What about the oil problem with the other machine.
Great video guys.
Magnifique moissonneuse batteuse 790i et les tracteur et les matériel agricole 😂😮😅😊
Chet that was great thank you and Eric did a great job some real work Chet not just filming video I no if it's been done at the farm you have done it seriously you all do great work even your mom and Randy can't wait for next video
for all that flopped out wrenching - go find a swimmer supply place and pick up a dozen kickboards - foam with rubberized surface - lay on them, kneel on them. Super light, just thick enough to seriously help and preserve knees, elbows, ribs... shins...
Knee boards from harbor freight are great and cheap for this too.
That lack of hearing protection will catch up with you.
When people hassle me about wearing gloves, I tell them "No one is giving out bonus points for having cold hands."
I'm with Eric. I don't like all the safety Sallies telling me what I "need" to do.
Chet's not getting older, he's a newlywed. He's going to the chiropractor to keep himself in peak condition.
Dougo, Chet has a workman’s comp case-arms smashed by a Big Swede. It was probably bc he wasn’t doing anything & Eric could tell.😂
Hey Erik it’s time to get Chet to the gym or build one upstairs. The boy needs some muscle. Back to hog farming so you can work harder and get some more power. Lol.
Love how clean and well kept your farm is.
I like teasing them about not washing the equipment enough. I must say they win first prize in that category.
@@dogcreek8547 Is this Brody's secret account?
no@@thebside6267
Chet you said old age I have socks older than you 😂 no really
Send it Big Swede!
One year old but How many Hrs? My neighbor does custom work all year round following the season.
He said 300
He said 300
Awesome video Chet and Eric!
We have a john deere 1450 cws combine from 2003 and the heder is a 314 john deere and the it's also 2003. We harvest about 50-60 hectares per year with it and it still runs pretty good.
More then 20min distance from work - builds resentment over time. 😶 For me..
Eric has studied repair technique of the Millennial Farmer 🤌
I commute an hour and 10 mins each way 20 mins would be a dream 😂
Chet what’s up with the rusty Channel locks😂
Always enjoy the classic Larson farm bone heads working on equipment!!
Throw some fine water softener salt in your drain it will help it from freezing when your washing equipment in the winter
I've done both, and no commute is so much better than an hour any day. So many quotables to day. Fine work. I just have to wonder at the cost of all the modifications that you make. Seems like something that expensive to buy should be fill and go.
Eric thank u for make chet have to work so hard n he was not struggling but yall be nice to DougO cauz Amy had him struggling 😅😅😅😅😅
Chet & Jean should swap houses with Grandpa & Grandma and live on the Farm.
That isn't happening. Chet and Jean live in the home that Jean owned before she met Chet. They put a lot of work into it before they got married. Jean has a professional job in town.
@@delbutler885 I know this.
what did you find out about the combine puking oil out the engine and down the side of it
Dealer stole the feeder chain out of it probably in a pinch, then they replaced it with an older feeder chain so they wouldn’t have to pay for a new one! Just a guess but what other parts were swapped out on it? 😮
Handy hint for you when laying like that on the combine. Get an old foam pool floaty pad to lay on. Your body will thank you.
One-handed repair has got to be tough!
Another very interesting video, thank you for a glimpse into your operation.
Next time Chet gets on you Eric,go get a “Hurt Feelings Report”, fill it out and give it to Douggo.
Hey guys, I'm looking for some more information on why you are taking out the pre-cleaner. I remember back in the day you mad a video on it before but i couldnt find it and was hoping you could point me in the direction of how you got down that path, and also let me know the part number and where you get the fingers from. Also, not to overstep or anything but i think it could be a good idea to side page on your website for your equipment upgrades. Much appreciated keep us the good work.
Eric Weber the big Swedes a golfer Jeepers I love this channel more than
20 minute drive is nothing. I used to do a hour and half commute to work 5 days a week. Now it's just 5 minutes and it's amazing.
40 min drive both ways? Pfft. I do 55 each way after working 12-16 hrs days 😊
Chip get all your tools out of the combine this. No more pry left in the combine working parts.
Another interesting video. Happy you are able to make the switch over to the newer combine even though there are some extra things to do.
Seeing you inside the separator reminds me of cutting oats. The oat stalks would bind up in the combine requiring someone ( namely me) to crawl in and clean it out. The chaff would stick all over your body. Fun, fun
Love the content
Love the content and Great video 🌈🚜🚜🚛🚛✌️☮️💐🌹🌹♥️❤💌
You only show half the struggle,,
I've been with you boys great work!
Best quote "we could jerk our life away." 😂😂😂 Good one Chet!
I can see it now Larson Performance Combines open for business
You need some Milwaukee M18 tripod lights. They are awesome!
You need to buy feeder chain half-links in bulk, seems to need them too often.😢
That surprise jerk movement is how people lose fingers/hands! JUST SAYING!
Lol Chet said old age body. Love u but u have no idea what a old age body is u still young man 😂
HEY SWEDE! I'm surprised MNMillenial Farmer let you use his magic snap magic with your tracks! Better thank him! Jeff the safe guy- from Brainerd
stupid comment
I love your videos, Ive been watching for years Iv watched you all grow! Could you do us viewers a favor? It would be absolutely wonderful if you could do your intro set with new music, better music, anything other than the clogers and whistling Willy! Please!
I wonder who will get stuck first Erik or Chet 😂
Does your shop have a rolling work bench? I highly recommend it, this 55yr old gets sore working on the ground😜
I put a hitch receiver in 4 strategic spots and mounted male tubing to a vise, rollers, etc.👍 I really enjoy this channel 🍻
I wonder how Larson’s ever became a successful multigenerational farm before clowns on TH-cam telling them what to do.
@@gregjames5070 pretty sure I wasn't telling them what to do and you would never see a comment like yours coming from anyone from the Larson farm.
I'm surprised at the paint wear for 300 hours on the new combine.
Not really. 300 hours is a lot for a machine that size. If the previous owner was efficient it could have 800,000+ bushels through it
The "LIKE Button" isn't working, It's stuck at 9K and it says dislike instead of like! No Bueno!!!
What happened to the combine that was leaking all the engine oil
Hasn’t been looked at yet!
This lyric from the band, Pearl Jam. Reminds me of your channel.
Down a long dirt road past the Parson’s Place an old blue car we used to race.😁
Gotta love working on a combine, fun times. You all have a nice shop to work on equipment
Sometimes it just needs pure force. 😂😂
Oh just fyi getting the things out to mod your combine is pretty easy, taking them back to "factory settings" is the part you really don´t like.
If the finger snap didn't work Mr. Johnson should have to come sort out the problem with the last track
When you had the brake shoe sticking out on the semi the brake cam bushing is eore out
Is the new s790 a replacement for big wheels s790 ? That would be great news for brody❤ thanks for the video
I will be curious to see how many brake downs occur this coming year . yall should be ahead of the game . great video !
They probably push the brakes down hundreds of times a day.
When I worked at deere I always told the customers, I might not find every problem, but everything I fix now is one thing you shouldn't have trouble with next fall.
That millennial farmer finger Snap doesn't work for me.
Can't get my projects done like that
This is from series "When farmers have to much money and they sell their more or less reliable stuff to buy junk" and later complain that it's junk
ZK Mastertech would like a word.
Chaffer and Sieve... I know you know what I'm saying, so all you all,,, say it correctly....
Think they changed the hours it has alot more hours than they said more like 2000plus
