I love a nice light leave in conditioner! The John Masters leave in mist sounds really lovely; I need to give that brand a try. Also, I am curious about your opinion on wide toothed combs vs. detangling brushes for wet hair. I hear that combs generally cause less damage, but I find that they tug a little bit. Brushes, on the other hand, are pretty painless, but need to be run through my hair many times to detangle it, each time making that “brush sound”, which I associate with damage. Have a happy new year, Antonia! I hope you enjoyed the holidays!
Happy New Year Laura! I prefer to use wooden wide tooth combs when my hair is wet and detangling brushes when my hair ia less wet or dry. For detangling, I prefer combs overal, for smoothing out, brushes. 💜
Thank you for your kind words! Happy growing and new year to you! Also your thumbnail is adorable, Aristocats is one of my favorite Disney classics! 😺💜
loved to see all your favorites! have you ever tried hemisqualane oil for your hair? i find my hair to be very easily weighed down by oils, and it’s the only kind of oil that’s worked to give me volume!
Thank you William! Wishing you a beautiful year ahead and hope you can make new kitty friends. Just found out there is a cat cafe near me where you can hang out with cats, drink coffee, eat food, and even adopt the kitties. 💜😺
I tried the John Masters leave in spray thanks to you and really enjoy it. I sometimes do braid waves overnight and have been using it to slightly dampen my hair after I braid it before I head to bed and it works great. Thanks for the other recs, especially the masks, I’ll give them a try!
What do you think about 1. Olaplex 2. K18 repair mask 3. Redken Bonding Treatment for Damaged Hair Repair | Acidic Bonding Concentrate | Intensive Bonding Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment I need something as my ends keep breaking off
I have never tried any of those brands, I have heard amazing things about Olaplex from other people in the lhc. Sorry I'm not much of a good source for these products.
I just bought 1. Redken Volume Injection Shampoo and Conditioner For Fine Hair 2. Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-in Conditioner 3. Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Hair Mask 4.Redken Thermal Spray 22 High Hold 5. Redken Blow-dry Gel, Heat Protection Jelly Serum 6. Redken Bonding Treatment 7. Olaplex oil Recommended by THE BLOWOUT PROFESSOR on TH-cam. I am waiting on them to reach Ecuador
Sounds like you have a lot of good quality products. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on pureology when you use it. I tried olaplex when my hair was very damaged from having highlights over a six month period. I have to say I couldn't see a difference though so stopped using it and stopped having it coloured. I started using Phillip Kingsley elastisizer pre wash hair mask and I've noticed a big difference in the strength of my hair. I Keep it on my hair for a few hours in a cap before washing it out. When I pull a hair now it stretches instead of breaking 👍
Wishing you all a Happy New Year! 🎉🎂💜

I had a hair dresser use pureology on my hair years ago and loved it. The rest I'm not familiar with, you'll have to keep me posted. 💜
