🔴Would you still consider buying a Honda Ridgeline? Why or why not?🤔 🏆2025 Toyota Tacoma Brings Drivers to TEARS..WATCH HERE 👉 th-cam.com/video/9ydAMAOBI7o/w-d-xo.html
Being a Ridgeline owner, I can tell that people need to do their homework before buying a truck. If you don't tow much and don't off-road, this is a great mid-size truck! I didn't hear mention about some of the recalls and transmission burn out problems in this video. Also, how many Ridgeline owners actually sold or returned their trucks under 10,000 miles? I plan to keep mine until 200k miles! Even if I had to have the engine replaced, I would keep this truck.
My 08 RTL is at +380k miles. Still running strong. Do regular maintenance goes a very long way. Things will break down, just up keep as needed. It will last a very long time
I've had my 24 for over 5000 miles and it's a great truck! No problems, one of the best AWD systems on the market for the price. it can complete most normal tasks, or can't haul as much as a full frame truck, but any smart person will research before purchasing! Or car guys already know. It was only 42000 sticker price for my sport, and way more reliable than anything out there new. Assembled in America, not mexico, like the new junk! More storage space too. The Mitsubishi evolution of trucks, hater's
Ohhhhh yesssss my friend, VERY well said!!! The part of.... ..... "any smart person will research before purchasing and car guys already know" .... goodness I love that! It's been a pet peeve for me everytime there's a review! If consumers looking for a new truck, would simply do the research, they'd already know it's not going to be what they want. There'd be less negativity and fussing about the Ridgeline if more buyers did that! On that note, I'm happy you enjoy yours. I'm a Honda guy, a car guy in general... and I definitely plan to buy one as well. Thumbs up to ya bud.
Owned one for 2 years and it never gave me a problem other than the head gasket going out at 248k on odometer. It did everything that my Nissan Titan does now. I’ll reconsider getting back into a RL again.
I researched this truck 5xs to sunday. I have a 24 pilot elite. and love it, wanted something for an occasional pc of plywood, taking smelly trash to the dumpster and taking my 6 dogs to the vet. We got the first 25 black edition ridgeline to hit the showroom. We don't tow, haul bikes or jet skis, or go off road. This tuck is the perfect size for around town driving on the unpaved roads out here in the desert. My wife loves it because it is just like driving the Pilot, and both fit in a parking spot. Being all wheel drive it is ready for a slippery road faster than I am. I have had a dodge durango, toyota tacoma and a giant gmc sierra all terrain, I got rid of the gmc at around 2k so many problems and 6 recalls in the first 6 months. Went 11 years without a pick up and this is absolutely just what I wanted
My 2019 sport is the best truck I have owned over 40 years. Tows my GeoPro 19' RV trailer 4000lb loaded pretty easy. The key and most important thing with the 3.5 engine is to keep up on the maintenance. Oil changes, transfer and rear differental oil change which I do myself, plus Transmission oil which I change every 20,000-25,000 miles. The 6 Speed appears to be holding up well at this point with 55,000 miles. So I think as with most honda's, Maintenance is key.
Something stinks here. I see Toyota, Honda, and am sure Kian/Hyandai will soon be labelled with problems. Meanwhile, no one talks about the myriad of problems with American cars engines not lasting 50k miles! I think this is a false narrative being perpetrated by those wanting to destroy U.S. jobs! Consider that most Toyota's and Honda's are 'made in America' whereas many of the GMC stuff is made in Mexico ....
Bullshit. Ridgeline owners know any limitations. The pros outweigh the negatives. Ridgeline owners buy them knowing they are getting a sophisticated all-purpose vehicle. They do not want conventional BOF trucks.
This truck is amazing. It does everything it’s priced right it has a high rating with consumer report and auto magazines and mechanics online. You’re the only person I ever heard speak negative about it. People are well aware of its pulling capacity and that it’s a unit body I don’t understand why you’re doing this. Is someone paying you to cut up?
Everyone knows the ridgeline isn't a work truck. It's a daily driver with a lot of cargo space. All these reviews even tell you that. Yet people buy it for a work truck and get disappointed.
What about the recent recall for engine failures? Yeah, 2020 and up aren't included in the recall, but it's the exact same engine from 2017- current. Honda didn't know about the issue until 2020. I am sure these new ones are going to be included as well. I was ready to pull the trigger on one, but the recall has me looking elsewhere now.
Honda and Toyota are the most reliable brands ever, every car company can have issues with quality control especially when trying to develop new engines with more technology. The older ones are more simple. Ya see Honda and Toyota have had recalls, but unlike Ford Chevy and dodge. They fix the problem, Toyota is replacing 100000 engines. If the other brands have issues, oh well, it needs a software update lol, penny pinchers because America is broke! the Point is Honda and Toyota fix the problems.
They've been using the j series motor since early 2000s my TL has a 3.2L which is the same motor as the 3.5L just the 3.5L is bored out more aside from that all the components are the same 🤣🤣 never had and issue with my motor and it's sitting at 220k miles still driving like it's new

Yes😊
You gave 6 reasons to keep it.

I have a 2006 Acura TL still a J series motor sitting at 220k miles and motor wise I just change the oil and filter everything is still stock 🤣🤣
My 08 RTL is at +380k miles. Still running strong. Do regular maintenance goes a very long way. Things will break down, just up keep as needed. It will last a very long time
391k on my 06, just got a 24 Black Edition, love these things

I’ve got close to 20,000 miles on my Ridgeline and it’s the BEST pickup I’ve ever owned!
Owned one for 2 years and it never gave me a problem other than the head gasket going out at 248k on odometer. It did everything that my Nissan Titan does now. I’ll reconsider getting back into a RL again.

4 years and 150k, went everywhere, towed and hauled everything I needed trouble free.

I believe it was best said when C&D called it a "Gentleman's Truck". I would sell mine ... so I could buy a Black addition.
Wow was this paid for by GM?
No, Toyota.

I prefer the original first model, which should've been kept with upgrades stronger engine and drivetrain with offroad options.
I want a truck without an information system, a 5 or 6 speed manual trans, cruse control, a back up camera, no new truck fits what I want.
how many drivers sold at 5000 miles.
Idk about others but my RTL is at over 380k miles and still going strong
Not me! Best pickup 🛻 I’ve ever owned.
Everyone knows the ridgeline isn't a work truck. It's a daily driver with a lot of cargo space. All these reviews even tell you that. Yet people buy it for a work truck and get disappointed.
Ridgeline gets the best mileage in its class. So how is that a negative?
Honda Ridgeline derangement syndrome😂
Ugly? Compared to what. Your probably a hater and have never driven one .
Not really ugly, but it looks like a big car with a bed....
Most standard base model full size pickups can only tow 5000 lbs

This! 😮

These guys are based in Poland. I wonder how they decided this was going to be their channel topic.
Infotainment is a distruction😂
Stop scaring people off - I think you could find title that is both "attention-grabbing" and respectful.
If this is true why can't I find them used?
Good point. I have a 2019 Touring and love it. It towed our small travel trailer very well.
The things you mention are all peanuts, what about the timing belt, injector issues.
I am on my 5 one. There very over price and what he's saying is truth.
