Few of my out there theories/observations: 1. Yeosang is somehow related to the sphere they pull down in the end, the way they are both covered in chains and how there were specifically 7 spheres in the prolog. 2. The room woosan are dancing in looks very much like the room from Answer and the fact that they are in white brings the idea of android guardian. Even more interesting when you look at choreo when they dance with Jongho, it looks like San has both of them captured and then stabs himself. 3. The hala scarecrow monument looks like a bow of a ship when Seonghwa sits there and the yellow and white flags mean "disease on board" in nautical language and Seonghwa does look very much dazzed in those moments. I can go on but these are the more specific things interesting to consider!

Ooh I will add these to my list of observations. I did not know that about yellow and white flags, but that fits! I have this feeling something (other than the obvious) is wrong. I took Seonghwa's expression to be a bit aloof or even haughty, but it could be sickness. For some reason, he is glitching. I also think there is something between San, Jongho and Wooyoung. Around 2:46 of Hala Hala it looks like those versions of them are in the same position with Jongho pushing San then Wooyoung appearing between the two, seeming to break them apart with a quick hand movement. In Halazia, Wooyoung comes between them again after seeming to slice Jongho's arm and breaking his grasp from San. An odd bit of choreography to say the least.

@@blackpearlstuds oh thanks, I'm going to rewatch HalaHala now! About Seonghwa I have my own theory but it's really out there. He is the only member shown only in "cult" setting and clearly something is wrong with him, he looks much too taken with it. I read hala!cult as halateez are gone (like dead) and ppl made idols in their likeness. And when pirate!teez transport to this universe their consciousness is merged with their hala!versions but like in different proportions, some just get memories and some, like Seonghwa get completely overtaken, almost possessed. And since they are dead, hala!hwa is overcome with grief and gravitated towards with cult worshiping them and stays there as their unhinged prophet.
But eventually Seonghwa does get back to himself when the cult is gone (burning of the scarecrow).
      Buts that's just me! =D

      @blackpearlstuds ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@KaterynaM_UA Seonghwa definitely has a cult leader vibe. I will pay more attention to him in the earlier mvs. Now I am seeing subtle things I had not noticed before. There is depth to the lore.

"disease on board"? So there's human emotion on board? (They said previously in VCR's etc that there's a disease, the disease is called human emotion)

the first time i heard the song it kinda sounded like it was a desperate call for help from 'halateez'. with the desperate call for light to shine in their barren universe part huhu it felt like a prologue almost too, from before they began their rebellion journey and stuff 🫠 made me feel so sad too

the whole concept for this era reminds me of Orwell`s 1984: mind control, senses control, brainwash, buildings with no windows, no personal space, no love or joy. also in Halasia and Guerilla MVs i see people in blue hoods - representation of blue bird?? in my country blue bird is symbol of happyness, luck and hope. i really like this symbolic blind scarecrow in black HalATEEZ clothing, fits the main era concept so well

MY MIND IS BLOWN!! I know I was missing a lot of the symbolism in Ateez’s new video, or wasn’t understanding how it all fit together, but I didn’t realize how far off I was. I’ve seen others try to explain Ateez’s lore but this video is by far the clearest and easiest to understand. Thank you so much for this video! I’m completely invested in the lore and your explanation makes me even more excited to see more!! Thank you again!

thank you for giving your insight on this mv. I was really struggling with the mv meaning. I initially thought this was about ateez before they became the halateez/black pirates (that gave the chromer to Hongjoong in fever) basically the og halateez from strictland. But with your explaination, it makes sense why the lyrics has them saying Halazia like a prayer.

What's also interesting is that there is a flower called halesia also known as silverbell. Could be coincidental, but the bell is so important in Halazia so who knows^^

I've watched quite a few lore videos and this is my favorite channel because of the deep analysis you give of the symbolism of everything in the videos and don't just try to condense the already published dairy stories.

Hi! The song is not co-written by Hongjoong and Mingi only. They've written their own raps yes, but the producers of the edenary team Eden, Ollounder, Maddox, Peperoni, Oliv and Buddy are also in the lyrics credits.
As far as I know, the more you're ahead in the list of credits, the more your part in the work was prevalent, and here Hongjoong and Mingi are the last ones credited.

Fantastic explanation as always, I really enjoyed this one. Halazia is hauntingly beautiful, a great addition to the discography. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t recall loss of gravity being part of the worldbuilding so far 🤔 I wonder if they will explain more about it in the next diaries, I’m very curious about what caused it.

Okay so imma drop my theorie here... Back in Say my name era, they had this concept photos where they were holding a rope... Ateez held the beginning, and halateez the middle. But at the end of the halateez pic, the rope didn't touch the ground at all, which means that someone else is holding it. My theorie: What if it's the NEW eight? It makes so much sense...
Also i saw pins noticing how only Seonghwa saw the witness. His bracelet is shown again. What if it is BECAUSE of the bracelet? Also notice how the Witness looks like Yeosang in Inception era... What is happening 😭

I think that the 4 people symbolize the student of the prestige academy that were sent to the Guardian’s Island because they were different, so that’s why they have the crest of the school but different uniforms. This could mean that they will play a role in “breaking the wall” of the other students that are controlled by Z and help the Black Pirates free the world.
This is just my take on the situation though from what I know.

It’s unlikely that it’s a reference to that, ATEEZ have stated many times their storyline has been crafted since pre-debut (so we’re talking at least 2018). The Twitter thing is way too recent, the Korean folk song explanation makes much more sense in my opinion
