I have no idea why i love this song so much. I think its melodramatic, very simple, the singer is a over actor. But damn, i hav heard this in my high school days. In my 20s now in my 30s. The passage of time just makes these things seem kind of precious. 😊 This song is always on my mind, like as a promise to someone. 😊❤

+TobieSoft I downloaded the video in October 2002 from an upload made that August on a Gackt fan site that no longer exists. The song might have been released the following year but the video dates from the previous summer if not earlier.

He even released a box set of all of the versions of this song he sang. I like this version. His voice has changed since then..now days he sounds like he struggles to hit certain high notes..wonder why.

I thought that since I'd downloaded it from a popular site surely someone else would have uploaded it here. Some singers lose the high notes at an early age but as he was a smoker that might have affected his vocal cords
semyaza7 Yes. I still watch his Live performances and I still buy his music. However,his old voice was so beautiful and much more powerful. I heard that when he was asked why he changed his style in singing,he replied due to him swanting to sing more like himself as opposed to his other style which made him feel like a character in every song. I feel like it was his smoking and probably drinking as well. I've seen his 2014 Tokyo Orchestra performance. He had to struggle to reac those high notes. Idk if he was sick that day or his smoking finally caught up to him. Or he damaged a vocal cord.

Crescentのあたりから低音が強くなってきましたね。
