You don't need motivation; you need to do things correctly. Do you journal your trades at all? If you don't journal your trades, it's likely because you haven't identified what you're doing wrong or realized that your system lacks an edge for long-term profitability.
Psychological issues may arise when you lack a reliable trading plan that you can trust and execute without fear of long-term losses or streaks of losses (because every system incurs losses).
To change your career before the year ends, consider joining a group of serious traders who hold themselves accountable. If you can afford it, having a mentor can also be beneficial.
I'm working on creating a group of just 3-4 traders, including myself, who analyze, review, build an edge, and make profits. While there is plenty of information available, many traders lack accountability, which is crucial for success.
