@@ameer8203 Why is that 🤔?
It is partial information. It shows max ram capacity of processor. But actual upgradable ram depend on ram slot specification that available in manufacturer website.

Great and straight to the point. I though my laptop could only use 32GB but turns out that i can manage a total of 128GB..Super
I thought my laptop could only support 16 gigabytes and it turns out it can support 64gb

@@todorpremovic9425I thought mine only supports 8GB (12 year old Accer Aspire 5733 notebook) but it’s telling me it can support 16GB! I’ve already upgraded to 8GB as that’s what all the sources were saying it could support but mine must be different.
Mine also 128 it's crazy
@@trevordesanta5739 lol mine can support 256 gb
Simple instructions. No BS. Thank you so much. I went through other videos on the same subject. They just fry your brain with their BS.
That is actually the precise information I was looking for, thank you very much!
Wow.. I was frustrated cause my laptop comes with 16gb and some sites online say that the max capacity is 16gb, but turns out the capacity is actually 64gb

🤣🤣 Which verse said that?
bro finally someone that says it in a simple working way ty fr
Wow, it is absolutely useful info. Thank you so much for such a highly informative video. In my case, the manufacturer of ASUS GL553VE Laptop says that it will support a maximum RAM of 32 GB only. At present, the laptop is installed with two Nos. of 16GB DDR4 RAM modules totalling to 32 GB. But, now on checking with the command, "wmic memphysical get maxcapacity", it shows that it will support a maximum RAM of 64 GB.
I couldn't see what was typed in the video. This will help me out. I wonder why there is even a maximum amount anyhow but still hut useful information.
@@MildarValsik well you can insert all 256 ram on your motherboard but it will be power inefficient plus your motherboard and processor can only use the maximum capacity that they can process. so it will be a big waste of your money and electricity.
@@areaofeffect100 I found out about the maximum supported ram a system can hold about 3 months ago. Yet 32gb is plenty for most applications. Often your electricity bill can be lowered by simply unplugging you system each night. Even leaving it plugged in while off can still draw power. Even on "weather strips". Just two laptops usage and leaving it plugged and charging plugged in "yes I know that's bad too". We went from $160's in electricity bill to under $100. So i got that under control and figured out the maximum.
However i learned the higher the ram in the graphics card the better. I think it goes integrated ram, graphics ram, and plug in ram for the best performance.
This helps a lot since Acer not putting out proper max capacity for Nitro17-42. Thanks to your help I got 64GB.
Damn, I thought that I only have 16 GB max capacity. Turns out that I can install 32 gigs in total!! Thanks man
Bing Chat states my notebook can handle 40gb of memory, after watching this vid I calculates 24gb. I Decided to check out the manufactures web site and found it’s in fact 24gb, Great vid, that’s for the help.
Excellent explanation. Best DIY ever for some like me who has power knowledge of PC's
Wow, thanks!

When the max memo differs between manufacture specs and cmd check-up, which one should we follow?
any solution??
I have the same problem.
@@gibran8959 That's the thing were i bought it and the manufacture say two different things. I heard that if you buy more ram than your pc/laptop can handle it will still use it but only to the max capacity of the pc/laptop not sure if this is true tho
@@Golden_Scarab you are right bro.. i installed my ram it has 20gb(4+16) of ram but only 16gb only recognize.. but thats ok
Wow this was so helpful, thank you
man i can upgrade my ram from 4 to 32
yes me too i am shocked
Wow
MY Laptop has core i3 10th . is it still worth to upgrade to 16 or 32 GB ram or I should upgrade it to 8gb ram
@@ExpertRaj 8 GB is good enough.....12 GB ram or 16 GB ram would be worth it...Depends on your budget.
I also
Is it the maximum amount I can add? Or does it include the RAM already on my laptop?
Include the RAM already on your laptop
if you're using a laptop with dual channel RAM, is that still total or for each? EG mine says i have 32gb, is that 16x2 max at 32 or is that 32x2 max at 64gb? please help
that is really cool
but what about DDR4 or DDR5 ??
is there a way that can i check if it is support DDR5 ?
@TexanWayBoy first open ''task manager,' after ''performance''..
''select memory'' ...right/down side you can see specs of your ram...if it is 3200mhz and below your rams are ddr4, if it is above 3200mhz it is ddr5...thats how i figured out
Hey i got a question. When i followed this tutorial and found out the max capacity of ram it told me 64gb of ram, however, when i looked up my laptops model number it told me 16gb of ram was my max. Which one is correct?
I’d say 16 go with manufacturers request.
Thx so much you have explained it very well perfect answer I was looking for
Nice! My computer is getting on a bit and I was wondering if it would be worth looking at adding more ram or if it would bottleneck or something (the last time I was up to date on PC stuff graphics cards were still AGP lol) and my 8gb PC apparently has a capacity of 32gb, woohoo! Thank you! Liked etc. :-)

thank you random indian accent dude from YT
can i upgrade to 64 GB ram as it does sho for my i7 12700H 4060 laptop (asus tuf gaming f15)
is it motherboard capacity or processor capacity because in my mb manual its shows 8GB max????
What are the other factors we need to check, like frequency?
Mine is ddr4 ram 4GB in first slot, is it okay to use 8GB ram
In this case both frequencies has to match.
TASK MANAGER/PERFORMANCE/MEMORY
Dell laptop 4gb ram upgrading with 4gb ra ra +256gb SSD = 8gb ram is it worth it?
Is that 8GB PER SLOT? or total?
Can we also get know the max processor support ?
This helped me thank you.
holy cow, mine says 128GB! Thanks a lot for showing us this trick!
Limited by motherboard manufacturers.
Does it mean I can add 1 stick of 32 fb Ram and another 1 stick of 32gb ram?
so I bought recently Asus Zenbook 15 oled um3504da-ma213w and it came with 16gb LPDDR5X soldered ram. In specifications this series is up to 32gb and after calculation with tutorial in your video seems it`s 64gb. supposedly it's doable to upgrade the memory, but you need someone expert to replace the memory chips on the board. I don't plan on doing it anytime soon, but if anyone has done it, just let me know if it's feasible.
Is 256 right? Can’t be
Great, this helps. Thanx
