- This build is VERY glass-cannon. If you want to kill things quick just spamming warp-strike (though it gets boring after a while) then feel free to try this.
This uses Ragnarok as the main weapon along with the Rare Metal accessory dropped by Omega in Insomnia (Royal Edition).
Rare Metal allows Noctis to break the damage limit. Combined with Ragnarok and Ignis' Enhancement, the total damage can reach the real damage limit of 99999.
The warp-strike branches in the Ascension was also unlocked for this build.
The main aim for this fight is to warp-strike spam either the neck or the eyes whilst keeping Enhancement active (preferably fire buff).
Having the 100% crit chance food buff also helps with reaching max damage, though I think you can hit max without this buff anyway.
I did this at level 102, but this can work some levels lower as long as you have the Rare Metal.
I also used this build to clear the 100 floors of 'A Menace Sleeps In Costlemark' in less than an hour and a half.

I managed to beat this thing in 30 mins using the strongest greatsword in the game. It's been years since I played this. Might get back in it

Ring of magii has a chance to 1 hit ko this boss. Can kill it in under 2 min if you are lucky. I farmed this boss with the ring. Just make sure to eat magic boosting food for better chance at it.

I've always hated how EVERY RPG handles boss fights with giant monsters. You just end up smacking their skin until they die (which would be ineffective) or a quick time event finishes the fights for you. Instead of making their weak points more believable like attacking their eyes or other fleshy points of entry until you can take out their brains or hearts from within
That's got to be the most amazing rendition of an adamantoise. That thing is just too damn cool.
The first time I beat the turtle i used the Ring.
Second time, I figured it must have a weak spot.
Took me a while to figure it out (Its eye).

So, you have to finish the game and have Rare Metal to kill him in 5 minutes. It just took me less than 30 minutes and I'm level 75 and at chapter 9. I got stuck inside him twice with the game glitching out otherwise it would have been 20 minutes. I ate the 100% critical hit meal, not the 80% used in the video. I used Ragnarok and could only do 9999 damage each hit so with him having over 5 million HP, that's over 500 hits to kill him. My companions didn't do much. I tried techniques but that just made it slower. If I hadn't tried to use techniques, it would have been a 15 minute fight.
Only reason why I used the 80% crit food is because the Rare Metal reduces your HP by so much that one hit is a literal KO. But I mean, if you want to finish the game first, kill Adamantoise for 30 (or whatever) minutes, then spend a long time killing Omega Weapon, I think I know which order I'd priorities first.

I killed Adamantoise using Sword of the Tall, Axe of the Conqueror, Dark Matter Bracelet and Magitek Suit (for high strength), Zwill Crossblades for gaining Armiger fast, Founder King's Sigil and Ignis' Enchantment.
Use Dynastic Stance for extra damage.
Or just use the ring of lucii to farm it endless.i have like 25 adamantite and 32 adamantoise meat rn because i keep farming it for gil,xp,good meat,and an effective spell limit break ingredient.

Technically, the sushi would be better if your goal is criticals, plus you get the exp bonus. They're easy to farm, I got nearly 30 tuna filets in less than an hour (best fishing gear).

Its much faster to eat longwythes peak, use the gaze of the vortex, and airdance its eye. Takes no more than 30 seconds with enchancement and proper accessories
You know what I hate about this game? The fact that when you hit these large Monsters there's no impact
It's an incomplete game covered by its pretty graphics and good story
@@ardjin0labs0eblibadi like any final fantasy game. decor, pretty faces, people flying, giant turtles that have ONE weakspot...basicly monster could be just big eye, oversized weapons and a story thats harder to follow then understand quantum mechanics. Yes - hard pass.

Honestly 4 minutes is way longer than it should take to kill Adamantoise if you’re using Rare Metal. My preferred build is a meal of Longwythe Peak (for +strength), Gaze of the Vortex (plus any +strength stat weapons for the added boost, i.e. Sword of the Father, Axe of the Conqueror, etc.), plus either Magitek Suit V2 or Dark Matter Bracelet in Prince’s Fatigues (no jacket).
Use Ignis’ Enhancement technique to get two different elemental buffs (3 is overkill), then blow Armiger on one of the limbs. It should break and put Adamantoise into a vulnerable state, in which case hit Noctis with a Power EX and warp strike to whichever eye is closest to you (150% damage bonus), then follow up with repeated airsteps (reset every third hit, you should be hitting for 99999). The turtle should die in less than 2 minutes, easy.

one of the last skill nodes allows you to break the cap
For normal attacks though (including warp strike) you need the Rare Metal. It drops from Omega.

@@hylius5780 you dont have to spray and pray with the ring. The ring's effect is based on magic stat. So If you build eveything to boost your magic stat, it works like a charm

I killed him in 2 mins 42 sec with zwill crossblade, rare metal,magitek suit v2, dark matter bracellet, and magitek exosuit to prevent interuption of catasthrope.

But I am a bit if a dum dum and I still don't know half of the things in it. On my last playthrough I just found out about wait mode and a few ago I found out about elegance. This is helpful though so thank you
