Absoluteely awesome, a boss that gets his hands dirty , thats it upset the workers and move tools all around, moan , moan , moan cant find nothing now 😂😂 On a positive note, job well done 👍👍, says a lot about a workman / woman space and his / hers tools . Thanks for taking time and sharing what GCS MACHINERY DO
Hi Michael. You have a good crew there. The tidy up is absolutely essential in the workshop. It is amazing what you will find. There is nothing more frustrating and tiring than having to hunt down the right tool to finish a job. Bless you for doing that for your staff. Cheers.🙂
When I was on the tools (which I personally owned) many years ago, I took 10 minutes every day to clean, check and allocate to their proper location every day. It gave me pride in my tools and workplace, made me more efficient and when I moved on into management, I sold my entire tool kit, and I actually got more for them, than I had paid for them as they still looked like new!
Great video again! I was a fitter when I left school we had to buy our own tools and tool boxes but got a % back off the firm we worked for, I still have all the tools 20 years later including the 10mm and 13mm sockets 😂😂😂 no body will look have tools unless u make them buy them themselves
There are companies that could learn a lot from your work ethics they are second to none. What does help is your great team you have behind you, especially Michelle and young Daniel
The trouble is, when you clean out the tool drawers which were untidy nobody can now find anything!! Everybody knew where everything was among the chaos and they’re just incapable of working to the new regime, with the result that in 2 months chaos will return worse than ever. (Been there, got the T shirt!)
Morning Michael, Michelle and Daniel, i don't think a clean and tidy up is ocd, however, don't wash all the old and grease off the drawer's or they'll be rusting shut over Christmas lol Your tool store reminds me of my shed, can't find it, buy another, and eventually end up with 6 lol If it isn't on top, at eye level, it's lost, lol With an establishment the size of your, there's always going to be a job to be done, if you're prepared to see it Great set up Great team Great video's Great update Take care all Back UK farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
Back in the 60’s & 70’s if you were a car mechanic you bought your own tools up to 19mm and the employer bought anything bigger including specialised tools. HGV mechanics were different because the used bigger tools, from memory you bought up to 24mm or equivalent AF.
Try not to over promote what you sell / hire too much. I am sure you can show better content. This is just my opinion. I am an avid follower of your channel.
