    these are great teachers, they learn from each other instead of claiming they are better than the other, like the relation between bruce lee and dan inosanto, these guys have one thing in common......respect!

      Truth on that...i actully like both weapons and the carryover in usage is great for.the most part. I rather enjoyed this 100% without the ALPHA EGO standoff. Each style compliments the other.

      in reality, having studied both Disciplines of the Body and of the Mind, I see the similarities between the two. Body mechanics don't really change despite the names changing because of languages.

    Kali is ❤️ FMA I saw that when I was a kid right on my very own eye when how it’s works in real attracker where my grandpa defend the attacker It’s fast and very effective. Filipino Martial Arts (FMA)

      Kali is martial art for all souldier of majapahit army..!! They brought kali to all area in southeast asia! Especially to south filipines..!!

    Kali is for close combat. brutal and deadly. only have 2 choices death or run. used in 1521(to stop magellan the explorer the spaniard) and it used 1901 Philippines vs American war. to killed 48people in 9th nfantry US special forces. used in ww2 Japanese fails in close combat. now is being perfected and can save your life in random streets.

    Kali or arnis is a filipino martial art kali is one of the deadly martial art and they usually use machete too.

      Killing someone is the last option. If you're in danger and the attacker won't be stopped without you taking his life then go kill him so you can survive. But if there's a way to run and call for help then do it.

    Tiger claw knife, it originally from Minangkabau, West Sumatera. It called Kerambit or kurambiak. With martial arts called Silat Harimau. Its cut joints and neck.

    thing is, in the 90s, most Grandmas prohibits the grandpas from passing the FMA to the grandchildrens...because there is no need in practicing it..the war is over and the Art is basically made to kill ^_^ both my Grandfather on both sides knows the art but both grandmas prohibits the practice as well..hahaha

    Fma is very deadly not really for sports. but its movement can be mix with other martial arts.. Fma is to attack a single deadly blow or maybe even broke some other parts of the body of an opponent.. im also a practioner of fma but im afraid to used it against those who offend me. im afraid to injure my opponent. so what i do is to back off if i see my opponent is not willing to attack.. For me fma teach me how to control anger and also respect human life.

      I am a fencer and one time an arnisador challenged me to a fight with our respective weapons,I used my epee and he uses two rattan sticks,he cannot even get closer to me during our fight

    Go around the world and learn all martial art techniques, Japan(karate), Korea(Taekwondo), China(Kungfu), Philippines(Kali), Thailand(Muaythai), USA(Kickboxing-derived from street fighting).. If you learned them all, your a great among all masters..
