      How many courses do you reccomend we make to truly see results for udemy? Or is it similar to affiliate marketing where we make a blog and forget about it continue to make more that type of grind? 🤔

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@xxshadowhunter5149 Exactly right with the latter. My first course made about $500 in the first month, then has continued to make consistent income to date. I don't think that's typical, but as soon as you get the courses uploaded it starts earning income quickly.

    🔥 Absolutely love this! Creating multiple passive income streams is the smart way to build long-term wealth and stability. My favorite, most powerful passive income stream comes from my 4plex and 8plex properties, which required the least amount of capital to get started.

    To greg and all those who relate:
    I'm very close to quitting POD. However I do feel like I have hit an upward slope on a trend line and I just need to pedal a little harder and stronger to make my 1st sales. I do have to experiment with more things too, so that's keeping me from quitting completely.
    I have 81 designs on 2 platforms. I have done 3 niches. And I think my 3rd one is the best one as per merch informer.
    My 3rd niche has 16 designs so far
    (Increasing per week)
    How long will it take to actually make a sale in this scenario?
    Given that my design & upload speed is 3 designs per week

    Thanks for sharing these methods, Greg! With Udemy and Skillshare, though, aren't you required to answer all of the questions of the students who enroll in your courses? If so, doesn't that become really time consuming?

      Thanks and great question! Yes, that's true especially in the beginning for the first students but the answers are public so others afterwards can see the answers to those questions without having to ask it again. After a while it seems to be self-sufficient. That brings up a good pointer though, to cover every little question you could think of in the course videos so it answers most of the FAQ's people might ask.

      I believe both of those sites are video based only (with text resource documents that you can attach to lessons). It think you could make a text only course and sell it yourself on thinkific or teachable but you’d have to do your own marketing.

    Greg I've been following you for probably 3 or 4 years and I am so saddened that I have not implemented any of your ideas because by this time I probably would be earning a living with passive income. I quit my day job July 7, 2023 and I need to start bringing in income. Realistically if I did all your business and followed then to a T how long will it take to reach $5,000 per month and $10,000 per month

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for following for so long, and no worries we can still get you there in a hurry. POD is still solid if you are finding the low competition niches. A little harder but if you’re good with doing affiliate marketing instead, I think I can get you to that amount pretty quickly. Can’t make “guarantee” statements but I’d say within 1 year would be my expectation. I’ll have a video coming out with that blueprint coming this Sunday!

Yesterday I was researching places I can park my money temporarily, still be liquid but earn way more than the banks and then your video popped up today. Lol so I'll be using one those suggested financial instructions. I am familiar with Udeny. I purchased several courses on there but always wanted to create me own. I'll need help there. I have always wanted to make money with a TH-cam channel so definitely need help there and finally the affiliate income I'll need guidance
