My all time favorite Rutger film. I miss the way movies used to be , nowdays films have lost all their magic and suspension of disbelief Isn't there anymore. This movie had a great soundtrack as well.

The movie left me thinking.... Would it work in real life? I think possibly, at least untill one wedlock prisoner becomes suicidal and walks off into the sunset.... taking someone else withthem doesnt enter into the equation for them.

I want to watch this movie again. In prison they're given names for colors or a stone. Rutger Hauer's name is Magenta and for the life of me, I can't remember what color/stone name is given to Mimi Rogers. Fortunately, my necklace won't blow my head off if I can't remember or don't get to watch. But it seems like she was given the color Amethyst or maybe Opal.
Dammit! It's going to drive me nuts, I can tell already! XD
