If the battery consist of 2 small cells that we use in different devices like remote of TV..then wire wound resistor might be costly... otherwise usually battery is more costly than wire wounded resistor...but why r u asking that...??..khareedna hai...??🧐

Sir you did a mistake id P.D diagram... You connected both terminals of battery to winding ends that means a lot of resistance and no current flows
