** imp correcion: here it is galvanic cell And in galvanic cell Cathode (Cu) is considered to be POSITIVE while anode (Zn) to be NEGATIVE . So direction of conventional current will be: from positive terminal to negative terminal [Cu to Zn] while electric current [Zn to Cu]
23:46 if potiential of +ve side kept on increasing and -ve side kept on decreasing then how potential difference becomes equal , it should have increased ...
Correction: Current from negative terminal to positive terminal is named as electric current Current from positive terminal to negative terminal is conventional current
Sir is always right. You need to clear your concept. Jes site sa electrons move krty ha vo site negative hota ha. Sir ny just deficiency of electrons show kiya ha negative terminal py. Means zn negative terminal ha or Cu positive terminal ha.
Sir as you said that in conventional current charges move from positive to negative terminal then why considerd the electrons to move from negative top positive terminal.I am really confused about it
Actually it's the electrons that flow in a circuit and produces current but in the past scientists thought it were the positive charges that moved and produced current. It was the period before discovery of electron. Now scientists know the reality but they still follow old method to simplify problems
sir cu ki tu electronegativity zayada ha is liya wo zn sa electron gain kar raha ha lakin zn cu sa Kaisa positive charges gain kar Raha ha us ki to electronegativity bi kam ha
Bcs ordinary water that we use in our homes have minerals and different solutes mixed in them and are in ionic forms inside water...which can serve as extra ion for battery....but not pure water..bcs pure water does not have any ions...
Sir if we have a battery connected with a resistor and its resistance is almost zero and potential difference is also zero so can Current flows in such situation consider 2 Ampere Current flowing so how is it possible if resistance and potential difference is zero🤔🤔🤔
When you connect a battery. it means you provide potential difference. Resistor having very small resistance .it means opposition to flow charge is very small.thus charge will flow fluently (current max)
