+TrenchStormer gear doesn't make you better ... right type of training does bro ... I will bear all cost of every type of slat for you if you can lift anywhere near these guys (I am taking about professional strongmen , BIG Z , Shawn , THOR , ETC ) ... easy to hate hard to love ..just saying:P
you can say what you want about it but I have know 220s and 242s totaling 2 grand without roids then they start taking them and their total only jumps 150 pounds or so 2 grand as opposed to 150 pounds the difference is great but not as immense as people might think
without roids, yeah .. cause u monitor their bloodlevels 24/7 over the whole freakin year. 99% of those people are straight up liars, cause they can't keep up with people lifting more while taking the same, or even less steroids.
all I said was .. if gear isn't everything ... if it is than why don't you take them and break 500 KG deadlift record by eddie hall ? .. those other strongman do take gears too .. why can't they break it ? ... you must train properly as well .. yes steroid make you strong as fuck .... but not as strong as anyone in the video without proper training .. so ... take you filthy ass out of this planet sucker
@@roneaton9235 This was probably in his training for 500. Maybe the bar didn't have aggressive enough knurl, but even if it did he probably wanted to save the skin on his hands. I doubt Eddie has slender enough fingers for hookgrip so he would have to mix grip, which drastically changes the form and puts his bicep at risk. Also, I know he has torn his bicep at some point but not sure if it was before or after 500.
+misterabuse +StaneTMI I second that. Your vids are the best powerlifting motivation. Today I was so psyched after watching some of the vids that I was screaming s**t like "there's no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift" after every set. And it was a bench press session, lol! Tks, man, keep'em coming!
It’s a split second decision that’s what makes it for me ❤I love this sport I was in the army for 9 years uk and this is the only thing that gets me anywhere near to the feeling of combat I’ve tried em all and powerlifting trumps them all I’m not even good at it but I need it
+Dina Castellanos He's a competitive strongman and now holder of the deadlift world record in strongman. In his sport you can use straps, so why wouldn't he? A pull that big without a belt is incredible regardless.
