Socom Combined Assault is still to this day my favorite multiplayer shooter hands down. a pity is wasnt more popular. People in COD these days have no idea we invented quick scoping on Socom without a doubt in my mind. I would jump snipe someone pull out my model 18 or DE haha. I am a gamer today because someone showed me this game lol
They don’t make games like this anymore. One of a kind series and no other games nowadays can compare to it. SOCOM would easily be #1 on charts if they made it like this again! Please come back, SOCOM!!

Damn. I had this demo disk and would watch this over and over lol. Such a cool game for the time. I ended up using the headset it came with on my PC w/Teamspeak for a year or two playing Battlefield 1942 until I finally got a real desktop mic.
I guess they don't like money.......else they'd be rolling in it today if they resurrected the series. Halo is still around and it's doing great. SOCOM was the direct competitor to Halo back then, and it dominated even that (1-3 at least). I hope to see it back someday
I'm a SOCOM vet, I've played all the SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs games since they came out on the Playstation 2. And now the only game that feels close to SOCOM in 2022 is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (ps4/ps5) with the new 3rd person view modes. i recommend it to any SOCOM fan, is probably the closest we are going to get to having another SOCOM game.
They could have shown how they make the enemies use the aimbot on player getting killed easily after ensign difficulty But overall great nostalgic game.

This game is better in an uncountable amount of ways than games produced now. With the exception of graphics but its 20 years old so to be expected.
graphics are pretty outdated, but the animations are still top tier lol
Playing the campaigns for 1-3 for first time in over a decade and yeah, they hold up so fucking well.
2:42 in the mocap gear is Commander Rick May, who voiced Kahuna, the player character.
