Enjoying the podcast chaps! One thing to maybe consider: when you are looking at things on the laptop or talking about specific cars it might be good for TH-cam viewers if you can put images or clips in the video too.
Looking forward to the sub £10k podcast. I daily drive a 28 year old Mercedes. Paid £2500 for it and it is probably worth £7 or £8k after 4 years. Zero finance, zero depreciation and very low running costs.
Enjoyed this one. Joe wins for me on his choice. The only brand new car that I bought was the Anniversary 986 Boxster which I had for 15 years
+1 for i20N, a superb car
I have said it before and am happy to repeat - I am SO happy with my S4 AVANT 3.0 TDI. I know it is not making the same exhaust sounds as a petrol, but the daily drive is so nice. Plenty of power.
Great show. Love the "new game" / what car for x amount. If you could add a picture of the car you refer to, that would be great.
@14:30 Its fun you mentioned Gotland, the famous off road motorcycle race Gotland Grand National(GGN) was held this weekend. It was the 40th. aniversary of the GGN. And also the last time held in its current location which is Tofta Army Training Ground(army need it for themselfs from now on due to current tension/war in the world)
GGN Staff is seeking new ground and areas for next year.
A swede won the race, beating "your" guy, 9!!! x world enduro champion Steve Holcombe.
Great listen to you guys👍
Cheers from me in Norway
The best way to spend the lunch break. 🥰🥰🥰 Cheers, Tom
Should make this content a regular each month… do a used and new 3 car list each, you could change the price ranges up and down for spice. We all spend time on autotrade/carsales dreaming, its good to listen to a pod cast and dream or better get a lead on your next car 👍
Shout out to Joe's diplomatic comments on the electric MG! 😂
Top notch again guys. You are nailing it every time and getting better and better.Thank you.
Really enjoyable gents. Up to 30k mx5 looks good, sub 50 just sneaks you a bmw 240i and for 100k just sneaks M5 and RS6 although there are so many other choices at that level it’s definitely the hardest category
Love this lads, be good to these once a month talking about best steals on autotrader ☑️
Some good shouts. I would also add the Alpine A110 into the mix. It’s also now possible to get a ‘new’ delivery mileage (73 plate) Toyota GR86 close to list price.
I can't believe Joe - I guessed your first car straight away (electric car under 30K), he can't watch as many of your videos as I do :) 👍
10k f3x BMW 320d talk to Ash Horton. I have one now... tuned stage 1 plus xHP and a few other bits. Great car for the money!
What about a chat about good value cars for under £3000! 😂
The total cost of my 1996 Civic and my 2004 MX5 is less than £2000! 🥳
Great one guys, this is how mates talke and how these should be
Thank you for saving my Friday afternoon 😂
Help pass the hours in ‘work’ 🤫😂
Really enjoy this stuff. You talk about different cars and cover different ground (brands). Great to listen to you guys.
Why hasn't he explained why he lives in a blackcircles garage? Seriously what's with the rubber. He must have a farily relaxed partner?
Joe is a global brand ambassador for Michelin. The tyres are for various projects he is doing with them including his M2 track car 👍
@@PetrolPed Yup, he does need the right gear for his track car........................... lol!!
Sorry Pete, I think Joe knocked this one out of the park, (to pinch Joe's phrase )picking two Ev's was brave LOL .Great pod cast. If you could choose a second hand car, say up to two years old, this would make some very interesting choices! Which Porsche 911 would you choose for a start? 🙂
Another great podcast guys👍 thank you
Thoroughly enjoyed this and great choices 👍
The electra is pretty cool way better than any rivals right now…best to mention 370 mile range and size and quality of interior better than cayenne…btw you need min £20k options on new cayenne for it to work 😂
Love this!!
MTB tyres by maxxis!!
Great episode chaps
Just catching up, my first trip to aus was to go to Phillip island and I know how cold that place can be. Shame tge racing got cancelled while Joe was out there 😉. Oh and I know its how you pronounce it but it sounds awful when you say michellin😁
MG EV 🤣🤣
Oh and Joe wins immediately as soon as ped mentions any EV...
Interesting choice of cars for the price ranges there. And a fair few quid of Cup 2's as a back drop.. Joe's garage must be huge!!
Joe wins on all three cars..lm shocked Joe didn’t choose a BMW 🤔…
Tesla’s are £65k?😂😂😂 Model 3 is £39k
Hey Ped, what make are the frames that you have got on them and do you have a tint on the lens ??
They are Oakley Pitchman and yes they have reactalight lenses 👍
Lunch break well spent watching this!
Would enjoy a similar challenge involving different shaped cars, best hatch for 30, coupe for 30 etc :)
I guess it depends on needs but if I had to jump into a sub 10k car, id go for a decent e92 330d/325d. Solid 3l D motor but I do a good few miles so it makes sense for me, I actually think the 325d is the real bargain as most people overlook in favour of the performance of the higher output versions
Up to £100k new, only choice is Boxster / Cayman GTS or GT4 (if you can get one). Nothing else comes close, Emira no where close. Cayenne / Macan are NOT Porsches they are VW products, not worthy of spending £100k. As an outside wildcard an MST Escort recreation would be awesome. £50k new, just middling stuff there, probably mustang 5.0 GT. No way an Audi, dull, dull, dull ,dull, understeer, dull (I've had an RS4 & S5). For £30k has to be an MX5, sublime.
Hyundai on top
How about doing a Pod on cars in those price bands that are overpriced and absolutely ridiculous? 😂
Worst still is most people looking to sell their car now will have suffered more depreciation and might owe finance on car rather than a surplus for next car
Not idea what these cars are.. any pictures? 😂
Great podcast :)
S3 should be £35k
