That's awesome opportunity to go to that show. So interesting to see what innovations and new technologies are coming through.

Not sure whether to embrace this modern technology or run for the hills and settle for a simpler way of life.

I’d be running for the hills away from all that kind of stuff, we are entering the forth industrial revolution which is not good for humanity i urge anyone to research it.

You can run for the hills all you like, technological progress will happen anyway.
I'm sure digger work like Amy does is quite satisfying, I know when I have my local digger driver in its always good to see the improvements.
However put someone in an open cast mine for whatever product digging nonstop all day to just fill the dumpers and I can't think you'd get much satisfaction.
Maybe that's where automatic diggers or remote controlled would be great.
Or a second digger working alongside a driven one, for example working a breaker all day and a driven digger crushing ??

You're right monotonous work and especially breaker work would be best done using these machines, fair point 👍

Saw this event over on Dirt Perfects channel, unusually he was up to date with his filming, really fascinating watching the VR drone and remote technology. What a lot of people don't realise is that change is going to happen no matter what. I did suggest on DP's channel, that when he has his phone in's that he gets you to join in. Especially as you're not only the younger generation, but you're always encouraging young people to get into construction. 👍

Hi Amy thanks for another awesome video, just shows that Hyundai hold you in high esteem to be invited over. There is some fantastic new technology now, will it take over completely not sure. Personally I hope not as i like the diesel option. What a fantastic opportunity for you to see and learn about the future. Thanks again Amy for taking us along take care and stay safe 👍 😊.

Some really cool stuff there Amy, just think by the time your wee lad takes over the company he’ll be able to sit at home and work and not freeze his butt off onsite

Hi Amy, another brilliant video, some great new technology, it's great for you Amy, you can use it no problem, but a lot of older digger drivers would struggle, they would be hoping it doesn't come in for another few years.👍👋🇮🇪

As long as you and the kids are safe. That's all that matters. A bit of plastic on your pickup can be replaced. Hope dippers, all right, too.❤😅😅😅😅😅😅😅❤

Looks like the day will soon be here where you deliver a machine to a site then sit at home with a screen and handset to operate it.

Perhaps you can get a Hyundai to develop a computer game/sim featuring Ami the Digger Girl and her trustee sidekick Dipper the Dog

I can't remember the name or know if there's a local agent in Obaig, but there's a plastic welding technique that should be able to fix your bumper skin OK. Sandy may remember the name?

Don't think automatic diggers are the future but remote controlled diggers would be better. Plus should there be a issue with a digger can still be seen to safely.

Haha for "safety reasons", yeah right. More AI and less human interaction, Fifteen minute cities. Miners have already been illiminated with fully automanous for the last number of years.
