Daughter of Bruce Lee and head of the Bruce Lee Foundation, Shannon Lee accepted the Lexus Legacy Award presented by “Warrior” actresses Dianne Doan and Olivia Cheng. There’s no denying that Lee has continued to be an inspiration for Asian actors and creatives even 50 years after his death. From his breakout role as Kato in the “Green Hornet” series to his iconic films that captured audiences like “The First of Fury,” “The Way of the Dragon” and “Enter the Dragon” to his creation of the martial arts Jeet Kune Do, he has had a lasting impact on not only on the API community but the world as a whole.

Hollywood hadn’t yet. But in 2010, Madame Tussaud’s Museum in Hollywood honoured Bruce Lee. 1993 Bruce Lee received a star on the Walk of Fame. Plus many awards before and since.
