Great video mate! No bs and straight to the point!. Just wondering if you’ve had any experience with the blade/spade hooks? I’ve got some jigs with the pre attached and not sure how they are attached but I’ve had a couple slip off when a fish is on. Cheers
Hello sir.... In my opinion, Braided lines are not suitable for tying the assist hook... The reason is, the braided lines are not abrasive resistance, thus it will easily break. But the Kevlar lines are tough and resist to abrasion. Hope this little insight will help U successfully catching more fish. FISH ON!! 🎣🎣🎣
@@baregrentifishing UHMWPE (Dyneema and Spectra) is actually 3-5x more abrasion resistant than kevlar, kevlar is more cut/puncture resistant i.e. for toothy fish. Fish with sandpaper mouths will fray through kevlar way faster, you can test it at home with PE cords like shouts and kevlar cords.
@@timothydavis6069 Agreed sir... So for targeting toothy critters, usually i use wire trace inside the kevlar.... 50lb wire trace for Spanish Mackerel is enough i think...
