This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we are actually blessed with some AMAZING luck on the Standard Banner. I still cannot believe what happened

If you spent any time in the teapot you'd find there is a shop item called Transient Resin. It's the same as the resin crystals you normally get aside from expiring after about a week
If I am not wrong, transient resin lasts for 12 or 14 days which helps

You need a higher trust rank to actually buy it and i dont think catalysts can get wood to craft furnishings to increase said trust rank to get the transient resin- im pretty sure its trust rank 6
@@Laaanni sumerus reputation shop gives an item with which you can collect wood. and the rank is only 4 or 5 iirc

Ningguang with that weapon is insane by the way, also I recommend trying Heizou as a main dps cause he’s crazy as well and cheap to build

As a ningguang main, i am so happy he's making ningguang into a main dps. Cause she is actually really good when built right.
What chars do you use as her support?
@@tamlynloell double pyro double geo, she just wants big attack buff. Zhongli, Bennett and Xiangling is probably her best team. Lost Prayer is you have it. Scaramouche will be coming with a crit damage catalyst but nobody knows the passive yet.
She's really good even when built wrong lol (source: my ning)
I kept rewatching the point where he got the 5 star catalyst because he sounded so exited it made me smile
And I wondered the dramatic music and the way things fasted off.
I would definitely recommend pulling Nahida over Yae. If you can get both then obviously that’s a W, but Nahida will be crucial for a number of reasons. You’ll have access to Dendro for puzzles and combat that you’d otherwise have to wait a long time for. You have Lisa for whatever needs electro, but without Nahida you’ll be locked out of certain content. And who knows when another Dendro catalyst will come out. (Leak enjoyers please don’t share any leaks, some people don’t want to see them!”
He's kinda locked out of some puzzles cause you need a bow to hit floating targets
@@friendlyauthor7435 but he can work around that for some of them, like climbing until someone's attacks can hit the floating targets and stuff
@@friendlyauthor7435 Charged attacks from any weapon can actually hit the targets and activate the puzzle. It’s just a matter of getting high enough that the character will attack them.
The upcoming character Keqing is supposed to be a dendro catalyst

Hydro abyss mages and slimes: Bonjour!
My kuki does the same amount of healing as a c0 kokomi , she's C6 now , but did around 3k per tic when she was c0, now she does around 7k per tic if a character is on life support. also fits my cyno, diluc, physical kaeya, Kazuha, Ayato team comp , although hydro res is also buffed too now. so sometimes kokomi is better.

The nice thing is, dendro is strong agains hydro shields, so once you get Nahida it may be a bit more bearable

Btw, go farm Tenacity, if you get Pale Flame you can build physical Ningguang with eye of perception, since you got the goblet

I would not do this, the eye of perception is not worth building physical damage at all, when you could be boosting her geo damage.
I will say though, I'd still keep eye of perception as Ningguangd backup weapon, as it just does damage, and your 5 star might end up getting shuffled to other characters as they come. It is an excellent weapon for a dps Ningguang.
Prototype amber Mona works honestly pretty well for a support mona, keeping her burst up more often, as well as the heals. Otherwise, Favonius Codex is great for the ER and for supporting the team.

scaramouche is going to be an catalyst user also, so you must choose wisely between nahida yae miko and scara :)

I'd say Nahida is the best for now, because she's the only dendro unit. Yae could be good, because he doesn't have so many sub dps 🤔 idk about Scaramouche
Java doesnt see leaks and he is going to pull for whoever uses a catalyst in the game so there was no need for you to comment this :)

Your Ningguang is the same as my Tartaglia! They both got us a favorable 5* weapon from the standard banner, from the same ascensions. Java, you probably want to get the Archon Quests done on Spells Only, since it's almost certain that Nahida is going to require Scaramouche drops, with that domain being unlocked through the Sumeru Archon Quests.

Last time Ninguang was rate up was with Kazuha and Klee banner. Also, Nahida will make that hydro domain a lot easier because dendro destroys hydro super fast.
Your klee is builded around the widsith, you would need to farm her artifacts again if you changed the weapon
Congrats on getting the lost prayer! I got it & several Heizous when I was only going for Kazuha and his sword, so now both of them just lay there waiting for me to level them up some day but I don't think I'll get around to do that any time soon
So happy seeing Ningguang get built! I got her my second day of playing in Oct of 2020 and she was my main from that day all the way until Inazuma. She was on one of my teams when I first got 36 stars in abyss, and she was my first triple crowned character. I don't use her as much anymore, but she is absolutely fantastic and will always remain one of my favorites.
A def% scaling catalyst would be awesome because most are so squishy

I know two easy ways to get refinement ore: from the teapot shop and some quests.
Or you'll have to stick to dailies and the smith.
You can always use some of the 4 star non-catalyst weapons to pump up Lost Prayer. 4-star weapons give a pretty large chunk of exp. It might not be enough to push from 80 to 90 but itll get you a good chunk of the way.
Suggestion: start saving for Scaramouche, he’s a catalyst so I think he’ll be a great addition to your team!

I mean he is guaranteed one of them, since he lost his last 50 50 on Kokomi. he'll probably use the guarantee on nahida and risk the 50/50 for yae miko

if u havent already, u can use the parametric transformer thing (from tianqiu treasure trail) thatll give u a fair amount of mats (like weapon mats, talent books, lvl up books, weapon crystal things, crystal chunks, etc) depending on the rarity of the items u put in it :D

you have no idea how hyped i was for your Lost Prayer and Archaic Petra flower, i put my everything into my Ningguang and just recently got the book, she's at 85/195 crit ratio c6 triple crowned, she's amazing.
