I’ve been wanting to go a Japanese Hair Spa for a while now. With a focus on nourishing and cleansing the scalp and hair, a head spa is essentially a facial for your scalp. The spas are all over Instagram and TikTok and it seriously made me want to jump on a plane to visit Tokyo (actually one of many reasons!).
Luckily I saw that Nadia just opened her spa and it is right here in Faro at MJ Essencia Salon!! (Woohoo!) She trained up North and lucky us, the Algarve now has this treatment available for Portugal! Nadia's Instagram page: www.instagram....
What are the benefits?

Plus, your hair will be so clean and soft and noticeably more shiny and healthy! Nadia also used essential oils - I really loved the lemon and ginger combo she used as it was so invigorating!
Two hours of hair spa bliss and I will be back for sure (Jax will also go as a reward for being my videographer!) FYI - I opted to leave the salon with a wet head because it was such a warm day but Nadia will blow your hair dry, too!
