Thanks for posting this!! I remember Les Brown, a motivational speaker, who was married to Gladys Knight at one time. I hope he's well wherever he is now.
Has Diana seen this... Martha and Mary look so Gorgeous...Diana don't start fighting..They are really Beautiful..and Ross you know you are Beautiful..all of the Motown Ladies Are my Favorites
@@narvelljones9571 I love Martha and Mary too, some of these singers couldn't look sexy if you put a pound of makeup on them. I must say those makeup artists do a fantastic job, I like when these talk shows have the makeup artists on their shows.
The Marvelous Superstar Artists cannot realize how they have affected us as us being the entire World...They are all so Good Looking Gracious Multitalented and just COOL...WE LOVE THEM AND GOT TO KNOW THEM ON A FIRST NAME BASIS .......THIS IS THE BEAUTIFUL ASPECT AND THE PHENOMENAL MAGIC OF ****MR.GORDY AND MOTOWN RECORDS****
Classy elegant Motown ladies I KNOWN I applaud them both Their legacies are LIKE THEM GREAT SOULS AND BEAUTIFUL Martha and Mary among any girl groups that made records!
Alright Ms Martha. Love how she sings this song. But that wig was kinda dancing in the streets too, and all by itself. It tried to upstage our dear Martha, bless her heart.
I love Martha Reeves I always have, just like I always have loved Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard, but I never ever liked to hear Martha Reeves singing, past the 80s, I just didn't, I'm not hating or anything like that, I love them all, but if you look at her singing in the 90s or something like that, it just makes you want to stab yourself in the ears, and people will say have some respect, you know how old she is, and I do, but the thing is it's not like you need the money don't sing, if you're sounding like somebody with long which nails scraping a chalkboard, at the same time, I mean Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, Patti LaBelle, rest in peace the great Aretha Franklin, they don't sound like they did when they were 20, when they was sing in the 2000s, but they can still tear it down, so the point is sink when you can, and don't when you can't, that's why they have retirement 401k
She looks absolutely so beautiful, still does, and she's always been so humble, her and Gladys of the marvelettes, they've always had that really really humble type of spirit
Diane was very shady back then but Mary flo and Diane grew up as sisters and loved each other. Diane was the little sister who saw her older sisters as rivals sometimes. Mary was the middle child who always was quiet. And flo was the big sister who was the sassy stubborn one.
SO COOL. AMAZING. I LOVE ** MOTOWN**. I HAVE NOTICED AND TAKEN NOTES FROM WATCHING THE LADIES FROM ** MOTOWN*** ALL OF THE LADIES ARE PRETTY TALENTED HAVE PRETTY LEGS..I GUESS I COULD HAVE BEEN A **MOTOWN**. GIRL TOO!!
Terrible to say, but I always seem to notice how audiences clap their hands to the music even when they obviously have no rhythm. The rather sadistic camera in this one keeps panning to a guy who looks like he's at a funeral yet he is trying his best to clap along to "Dancing in the Streets". Nevuh-mind-the-nevuh-mind, LOL! Bless their hearts, these people didn't know Twitter from a fritter or Facebook from the phone book nor are they affixed to their cell phones like umbilical cords. Their world was not perfect, but it was simpler in many ways.
Somethings gone awry with her voice; doesn't sound like she once did; I guess as you age, so does your voice and that's understandable. Moreover, if you are a professional singer and you smoke, you are asking for trouble down the line.
I can listen to Mary Wilson forever. She is a very good speaker.
I just love Mary and Martha...they are both so down to earth and real.
Mary was a real stunner, beautiful face and had a lovely voice.
Martha was just amazing. Looks fantastic. One of the greatest singers ever!!
Figure and killer legs beautiful women and can Sang!!!
Thanks for posting. Mary interviewed well and looked ravishing as always.
Omg Mary looked like a supermodel ❤ She was even rocking a lace front way back then!?
I love these women. Martha and Mary gave me so much joy.
The late Mary Wilson was always so stunning. Martha did her thing too. Expose I loved them. A part of my college days soundtrack
Mary looks supreme.
💯
Nice one 🤌🏾
I Agree 💯

"We didn't harrass too many guys". Good one Martha.

@16:18 Mary's response to sexual harassment was point on, "we didn't harass too many guys." What a great person.
Remember seeing this when it first aired; think this was only time Expose performed As Long As I Can Dream live on TV.
I watched the video because of Expose.
I loved this. I missed this at the time because I was really young and busy trying to climb
Les brown 🤎 was pumping threw his coat talking with martha when finishing her song, Martha very pretty 😍 and nice spirit.
Wow Im just now finding out Les Brown had a TV Show
@J C, me too.
Mary is BBBBBEat!! For 10 or more funes.
Interesting. This is an older video but Mary’s hair was kind of her more recent kinda of look.
You cant really compare Motown girl groups to any of these others. Totally different ballgame.

I have to agree after the "Gotta Keep Moving " album in 1980 that voice has been a wobbly mess.
When did this originally air?
Mary said it was the 30th anniversary of the Supremes' success "Where Did Our Love Go" so it must have been 1994
No it was 1993. The Les Brown show lasted from September to November 1993. I looked it up
Mary shut that lady Down asking what kind of person Diane is. She thought she was going to bash Diana Not!
Diane was very shady back then but Mary flo and Diane grew up as sisters and loved each other. Diane was the little sister who saw her older sisters as rivals sometimes. Mary was the middle child who always was quiet. And flo was the big sister who was the sassy stubborn one.
@@LoveTheKay
They did not grow up together. They met as teens. That is y Diane does not feel any sisterhood with them.
How do you know?? Diana did love Mary and Flo.

@14:44 I think about Amy Winehouse.
What year was this?
I forgot Martha was born in Alabama.
And Mary was born in Mississippi.
Why did the Supremes break up? Girl like where the hell you been?

Sad that she can't sing anymore
