brett has played a monumental role in my official switching of political aisles. (amala as well!) i grew up in a household of democrats, in a family of mostly democrats. as i got older i slowly drifted center. i’d been an independent since. partial credit is due to my husband but as we finally started our family and the real world finally hit me smack in the face i realized how much everything has changed. including myself. watching and listening to brett was great, as i finally had someone who i could relate to (age, gender, general attitude about things) it became the obvious choice. i registered as a republican for the first time in my life when i voted in this year’s election. then when i first started seeing reagan popping up as temp host, i was wholly uninterested from the start. then her announcement happened and i watched a clip or two of reagan’s and it just confirmed for me that i no longer care to watch the comment section _without_ brett cooper.
But they are both Republicans no?? They both hate feminist and leftists.Norhinh original about both the calling out woke people. Why would you find it hard to support Reagan if they are both with you fighting the same enemy?

At first I didn't mind the transition with Reagan taking over Bretts place while she was away, but seeing that Brett took down pictures of her best friend is clear signs there was bad blood between the two in this Daily Wire switch up rather than it being a smooth transition. I have no plans to continue watching the comments section from that alone.

What's there to watch anyways? Reagan was terrible on every episode she did on the show, and for the person supposedly being a producer of the show before it makes no sense why the quality of the show felt so lacking every time she was in the seat. And doubly so that they just cut to dead air abruptly in every episode she hosted.
I'd personally wait to find out more. The shows character is not all from Cooper, the clips selected, the editing style it's all helped by Reagan and the other staff. Brett's job is to arrive, get into her outfit or makeup with help, pop on the fake headphones and give a couple of hours of reaction to the preselected content for the team to edit down and make punchy using short video clips, sound effects, editing tricks. Could just be that Reagan knows how much work each team member does and thinks the pay packet for the host is very fair compensation and was happy to take that deal whilst Brett was wanting it boosted to where it stops being lucrative for DailyWire or becomes unfair for the people who actually prepare the content or do the hours of daily editing

Great commentary on the whole situation. When the Daily Wire posts a video of the guys sitting around smoking cigars I just think, “yeah, it’s a boys’ club.” It’s giving private men’s club vibes. It seems like they’ve tried to make women fit in, but they’re not really making it work.
Brett deserves all the credit for the comments section. DW gave her a start but he made it work. She appealed to more middle ground, common sense people than anyone at the DW ever could have. Hope she continues in her down to earth, straight talking style. It’s really refreshing to see that her content and yours is what’s in demand

Speaking from my own personal opinion, as a conservative female, they are shooting themselves in the foot. I subscribed to the daily wire BECAUSE of Brett. So, not sure about their strategy here, but I’m sure I’m not alone 😅
Are you really surprised? Lump conservatives together and it's hard for them to find what to conserve. Same with liberals and liberalizing. Who knows, maybe she offended one of them, or maybe she didn't feel like herself.
@@fornax5798 judging by how the rest of the DW look down on pop culture, I wouldn't be surprised. Brett was winning over so many gen X people, while the others choose to make fun of pop culture, something that said generation cares about.
The case with Brett and DW are parties that didn't come on to an argreement. Brett's channel is growing so fast and she probably has the most views on the DW, so she probably asks more from what the DW offered. She didn't accept it and so they go own their separate ways. It's just business. It's not like the DW ditch her because she's not doing great, they just didn't agree on the price. It's a good move for Brett because she'll be fine but it's a huge loss to the DW.

It’s not a secret Brett wanted to do more than just the comment section. However it’s clear that the “god king” felt she belonged just in her little corner for GenZ pop culture and nothing more. And nothing is more telling than hiring Brett’s best friend to replace her and giving Reagen acting lessons to mimick Brett’s mannerism and voice inflections. It’s a shame because Brett brought in both a lot of younger viewers as well as a lot of women who otherwise might not seek out Conservative-leaning content. We’ll see what’s become of the _Comment Section_ in 6 months but I won’t be shocked if it struggles to fill Brett’s shoes Edit: the “god king” is the DailyWire CEO Jeremy Boreing. That is an arrogant title he gives to himself and makes his staff call him, despite having a problem with Charlemagne calling himself “the god”. When it comes to political commentators I've gone through periods of time following Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and Stephen Crowder. I ultimately stopped watching them because they can be cocky and say things that are unnecesarily divisive. I really appreciate the work you, Amala, and Brett do. You set a great example for people our age, and give me hope for the future of our party to have a more respectful dialogue with people on the other side.

To be fair, Candace has a strong personality and so does Ben Shapiro. From was said, it came down to her comments about Israel, not gender. She seems best suited for self-employment. Also Candace and Brett have husbands who can support them upon leaving DW. But the rest of them are dudes who are the breadwinners for their families. So it’s not unfair to say they’re more likely to toe the line or compromise.
Honestly I think they are threatened by these women. It comes off as something like that they don’t like women who have differing opinions. They want yes (wo)men.
I'm not worried about Brett at all. She's not just some talking head. She's a very talented actress and has been since childhood! She has so many paths she can take. She only has to choose one. The Comment Section, however, will probably not recover. But hey! That was the path Daily Wire chose. 🤷♀
The daily wire is fairly corporate. Brett's initial contract would have been based on her unknown status. But ongoing contracts would want content. If she took a day off, or had a bad week, there would have been performance penalties. Once you've critical mass, then you'd probably prefer to be your own boss. I think the Daily Wire's business model is flawed. If they produce a breakout star, that person is destined to leave. If their fiction content does well enough, then Hollywood would probably pivot. If their news stuff goes well, then you'd assume news orgs would try and fight back. It's possible that if you did win the culture war, you eliminate the need that you filled. Their current lineup is Ben. Some of the others probably don't have the wattage to break out. Their attempts to endear themselves to gen z are a little pained. Ben with gen z editors is... I just can't. Regan does actually seem intelligent. But inheriting Brett's chair would be thankless (unless Brett had pointedly stepped away to start a family or produce radically different content). An attempt to manufacture a new Brett would be a struggle. Not impossible. If you make a comparison to music groups, there are some that are factory produced and initially puppets with producers' hands up their butts. If you look at Amala or Brett, Brett was endearing. Amala was opinionated and authentic in a way that made her a breakout star for Prager - but also meant that she wouldn't respond well to messages about corporate branding. DW seems to be able to get investment (funding a tv series is a bit of a feat). But being a defined entity for advertisers might create limitations. And while Owens did get invites to the adults' tables, there was a threat that leaving Brett out would be a slight. I don't think Brett would have gained by having a cigar with Ben, Andrew, and co. Being somewhat independent was part of Brett's pitch to her audience. For example, I like Klavan. But I also described him as resembling an elderly vampire. Brett wouldn't benefit by an association with Klavan. She doesn't benefit if DW has used a cattle brand to mark her as "property of DW".
If she hasn’t posted anything and has that many followers it’s likely the algorithm flagged her channel as a bot farm so until she’s got content on it the algorithm will not show it

She is not shadow banned. Her channel has no videos, so it’s not going to pop up in the recommends. If you search for channels only it’s one of the first channels to pop up.
Yeah the Daily Wire dropped the ball. Brett Cooper definitely has star quality. No disrespect to Reagan but she doesn't have the same charisma. I'm pleasantly surprised you are covering this. It's not often that internet personalities are so connected in real life like you and Brett are, it's reassuring. I hope she will make content in the future, and I also hope you and her can do more collaborations! As much as I like the Daily Wire, they have made some decisions that have forced me to consume more independent creators' content simply because there is more personality and genuineness to be found.
My thoughts are that her contract was up and she wanted a better deal but TDW said no. Or she waited until her contract was up so she can move on to do different things. Wish her the best and I'll be there to support her. I don't care that much about politics but she made it sound interesting to learn about it. Her replacement isn't going to get the same amount of viewership since we subscribed for Brett and not her. Either way she'll probably make the channel her own and gain a new audience after a few months.
I didn't even watch when she subbed in for Brett. She's not Brett. I'm in my 40s and watch Brett to keep in touch with the pulse of the younger generations. Where ever she goes, I'll watch. This replacement person I will not.
Agreed. I think there are way too many people conspiring that Brett left because she was mistreated or upset about something. Brett has said a million times once she has a family that'll be her number 1 priority. Well, she's now married and has a farm. Wouldn't surprise me if kids are coming soon and she doesn't want to be stuck with the show schedule of DW. She has enough followers she can now do her own thing on her own time and prioritize family. It makes sense career wise that she'd be moving on about now.

Just subbed to her new channel. I had already stopped watching the comment section, not even knowing what exactly happened. I thought it was icky and a little uncanny valley how close Reagan was trying to copy Brett’s essence. It did not sit right with me from the very first video. I look forward to supporting Brett in whatever new adventure she goes on next. And DW is so wrong for thinking they can just copy paste someone like that. Fair points but remember that the rapid face zoom reactions, animated GIFs, sound effects and so on are all DW creations via The Comments Sections editing team, for all we know Reagan could have had a hand in instructing Brett how to sit and do X,Y,Z in a way that looks good on camera Brett has been one piece in a product and is now globally famous as a massive benefit and will likely never have to think about budget or opportunities again

Yeah, Crowder and Candace are both people that I used to follow, but as time went by, their behavior really turned me off of them, and I’d already stopped following them by the time each of their DW drama happened. Brett’s departure took me completely by surprise, though. Reagan filling in was a little weird, but I just thought/hoped that she was working on a yet-to-be-disclosed project that made her need a few days off. The only thing I can think of is that Brett clearly continued her friendship with Candace after Candace was let go.

I love Brett Cooper because she is sort of like a beacon for us, the younger generation. She is informed, in touch with the culture and politics, and has this amazing energy to her! It's totally unclear, in interviews like with Prager or Peterson she comes across fantastic but for all we know she might have some views like her friend Candace who thinks the Moon Landing was fake, earth may be flat, Hamas are somewhat justified, Andrew Tate is a wonderful lovely person, Macrons wife is a secret man etc I really hope not but it's a huge concern that they are friends unless it's more about what generation they are from rather than political alignment or way of processing information

The DW created the comments section BEFORE Brett was on it. They had another host before her. Brett did bring in the majority of the subscribers, but it was a preexisting product. I unsubscribed from the comments section because Brett was the reason I watched. I don't want an imitation of her.
I don't pretend to understand the media industry drama etc. (Candace seemed like a totally different thing, they didn't have to be for free speech and pay her at the same time) I hope this is a springboard for Brett and not a deprecation. I will be following her❤
Her boss doesn't have a show. He creates stuff like *her show* by developing and executing on concepts. Brett was one of many young women considered for a pre-existing show concept that had people for stuff like makeup,set design, social media trawling, punchy editing and advertising/viral marketing. She was one of the Team for the show. It was not "her" show as such. It's a bit like saying Christian Bale made The Dark Knight
uh, Daily Wire was wildly succesful before Brett joined, and DW will continue to be successful after she left. The company just recently surpassed 1 billion in value. Brett Cooper offers nothing but cultural gossip and hollywood drama. Nothing extraordinary.

I 100% agree I think DailyWire has been great but something is breaking somewhere. IMO I think Jeremy and Ben might be the problem. I want to see DW thrive as well, but as you said Amir…if they want to represent what true diversity is…they’re failing. I'm hoping they can rise above and fix whatever issues they are having cause they lost a HUGE major talent with Brett.
Ben is not in charge. Jeremy largely calls the shots, and if you think it’s Ben’s fault that Candace got pushed out, all I got to say is good riddance. She has turned to being the worst with insane antisemitic conspiracy theories and it was a mistake to hire her in the first place, considering her checkered past. The only flub the DW has, is letting Brett go, but I think it has to do with financial issues in pay as well as (probably) Brett wanting more benefits, is my guess.
I will follow her wherever she goes. She will probably be more successful on her own. Daily wire forced her into a niche that I think she has potential to surpass.

Great points. Speaking to your point about the current DW line up, I am an older, white, Catholic male. I don't want to watch their content because I already know what I think. I sought out Candace and Brett to see different perspectives.
I love Brett. It’s so simple. She is amazing. I’m a 43 year old married momma, so not her target audience, but I adore her. My four and five year old love her. I am so heartbroken 💔. I miss her so much already. She is incredible, iconic, and irreplaceable. 😭😭
I’m not her target audience either. 58-year-old woman. But Brett is so refreshing and fun to watch. She makes difficult things easier, too. I’ve told a whole bunch of people about her, including my kids and my friends.
My personal opinion - Brett asked for more in her contract renewal, they didn’t want to give it, and they figured that they could switch her out for “Brett-lite” with minimal consequences.
I noticed this a long time ago. I started getting a bad feeling from DW. I started watching more diverse TH-camrs and listening to a wide array of opinions from so many different people. I am excited to see how Brett does on her own and what she can do! Thanks Amir for talking about this!
How the hell can you compare Brett with those crazy people Crowder and Owens? You can be critical of the Daily Wire for many reasons, but getting rid of Crowder and Owens (as well as hiring Brett) was some of the best things they ever did. I think it’s just about money in the end. When Brett came in to DW no one really knew who she was and was given a huge opportunity and skyrocketed. Now I think her contract renewal was coming up and she knows she is worth much more and DW thought maybe it would be a good opportunity for Brett to pursue greater things and take on a younger and cheaper talent who hopefully will be able to rise through the ranks. In the end I think it is all about money.
What I want to know is what ever happened to Brett's version of Snow White? Anyway, I just assumed that her parting with DW might have been involved with other changes in her life such as marriage (I just assumed she got pregnant.) It is my understanding that only the trailer for the Snow White and the Evil Queen was ever done. Now the trailer is gone from the DW web-site, so I think the whole Snow White project is scuttled now that Brett is gone.

brett has played a monumental role in my official switching of political aisles. (amala as well!) i grew up in a household of democrats, in a family of mostly democrats. as i got older i slowly drifted center. i’d been an independent since. partial credit is due to my husband but as we finally started our family and the real world finally hit me smack in the face i realized how much everything has changed. including myself.
watching and listening to brett was great, as i finally had someone who i could relate to (age, gender, general attitude about things) it became the obvious choice. i registered as a republican for the first time in my life when i voted in this year’s election.
then when i first started seeing reagan popping up as temp host, i was wholly uninterested from the start. then her announcement happened and i watched a clip or two of reagan’s and it just confirmed for me that i no longer care to watch the comment section _without_ brett cooper.
But they are both Republicans no?? They both hate feminist and leftists.Norhinh original about both the calling out woke people. Why would you find it hard to support Reagan if they are both with you fighting the same enemy?

At first I didn't mind the transition with Reagan taking over Bretts place while she was away, but seeing that Brett took down pictures of her best friend is clear signs there was bad blood between the two in this Daily Wire switch up rather than it being a smooth transition. I have no plans to continue watching the comments section from that alone.

What's there to watch anyways? Reagan was terrible on every episode she did on the show, and for the person supposedly being a producer of the show before it makes no sense why the quality of the show felt so lacking every time she was in the seat. And doubly so that they just cut to dead air abruptly in every episode she hosted.

I'd personally wait to find out more. The shows character is not all from Cooper, the clips selected, the editing style it's all helped by Reagan and the other staff. Brett's job is to arrive, get into her outfit or makeup with help, pop on the fake headphones and give a couple of hours of reaction to the preselected content for the team to edit down and make punchy using short video clips, sound effects, editing tricks.
Could just be that Reagan knows how much work each team member does and thinks the pay packet for the host is very fair compensation and was happy to take that deal whilst Brett was wanting it boosted to where it stops being lucrative for DailyWire or becomes unfair for the people who actually prepare the content or do the hours of daily editing
Brett will definitely thrive on her own, she was pulling in more views than most of the other creators at the daily wire combined 🤷🏾♂️

Great commentary on the whole situation. When the Daily Wire posts a video of the guys sitting around smoking cigars I just think, “yeah, it’s a boys’ club.” It’s giving private men’s club vibes. It seems like they’ve tried to make women fit in, but they’re not really making it work.
Brett deserves all the credit for the comments section. DW gave her a start but he made it work. She appealed to more middle ground, common sense people than anyone at the DW ever could have. Hope she continues in her down to earth, straight talking style. It’s really refreshing to see that her content and yours is what’s in demand

Speaking from my own personal opinion, as a conservative female, they are shooting themselves in the foot. I subscribed to the daily wire BECAUSE of Brett. So, not sure about their strategy here, but I’m sure I’m not alone 😅

@@fornax5798 judging by how the rest of the DW look down on pop culture, I wouldn't be surprised. Brett was winning over so many gen X people, while the others choose to make fun of pop culture, something that said generation cares about.
The case with Brett and DW are parties that didn't come on to an argreement. Brett's channel is growing so fast and she probably has the most views on the DW, so she probably asks more from what the DW offered. She didn't accept it and so they go own their separate ways. It's just business. It's not like the DW ditch her because she's not doing great, they just didn't agree on the price. It's a good move for Brett because she'll be fine but it's a huge loss to the DW.

It’s not a secret Brett wanted to do more than just the comment section. However it’s clear that the “god king” felt she belonged just in her little corner for GenZ pop culture and nothing more. And nothing is more telling than hiring Brett’s best friend to replace her and giving Reagen acting lessons to mimick Brett’s mannerism and voice inflections.
It’s a shame because Brett brought in both a lot of younger viewers as well as a lot of women who otherwise might not seek out Conservative-leaning content. We’ll see what’s become of the _Comment Section_ in 6 months but I won’t be shocked if it struggles to fill Brett’s shoes

I ultimately stopped watching them because they can be cocky and say things that are unnecesarily divisive. I really appreciate the work you, Amala, and Brett do. You set a great example for people our age, and give me hope for the future of our party to have a more respectful dialogue with people on the other side.

To be fair, Candace has a strong personality and so does Ben Shapiro. From was said, it came down to her comments about Israel, not gender. She seems best suited for self-employment.
Also Candace and Brett have husbands who can support them upon leaving DW. But the rest of them are dudes who are the breadwinners for their families. So it’s not unfair to say they’re more likely to toe the line or compromise.
Honestly I think they are threatened by these women. It comes off as something like that they don’t like women who have differing opinions. They want yes (wo)men.

I'm not worried about Brett at all. She's not just some talking head. She's a very talented actress and has been since childhood! She has so many paths she can take. She only has to choose one. The Comment Section, however, will probably not recover. But hey! That was the path Daily Wire chose. 🤷♀

The daily wire is fairly corporate. Brett's initial contract would have been based on her unknown status. But ongoing contracts would want content. If she took a day off, or had a bad week, there would have been performance penalties. Once you've critical mass, then you'd probably prefer to be your own boss. I think the Daily Wire's business model is flawed. If they produce a breakout star, that person is destined to leave. If their fiction content does well enough, then Hollywood would probably pivot. If their news stuff goes well, then you'd assume news orgs would try and fight back. It's possible that if you did win the culture war, you eliminate the need that you filled.
Their current lineup is Ben. Some of the others probably don't have the wattage to break out. Their attempts to endear themselves to gen z are a little pained. Ben with gen z editors is... I just can't. Regan does actually seem intelligent. But inheriting Brett's chair would be thankless (unless Brett had pointedly stepped away to start a family or produce radically different content). An attempt to manufacture a new Brett would be a struggle. Not impossible. If you make a comparison to music groups, there are some that are factory produced and initially puppets with producers' hands up their butts. If you look at Amala or Brett, Brett was endearing. Amala was opinionated and authentic in a way that made her a breakout star for Prager - but also meant that she wouldn't respond well to messages about corporate branding.
DW seems to be able to get investment (funding a tv series is a bit of a feat). But being a defined entity for advertisers might create limitations. And while Owens did get invites to the adults' tables, there was a threat that leaving Brett out would be a slight. I don't think Brett would have gained by having a cigar with Ben, Andrew, and co. Being somewhat independent was part of Brett's pitch to her audience. For example, I like Klavan. But I also described him as resembling an elderly vampire. Brett wouldn't benefit by an association with Klavan. She doesn't benefit if DW has used a cattle brand to mark her as "property of DW".
You should be worried because she’s not interesting enough to hire for serious positions.

I'm pleasantly surprised you are covering this. It's not often that internet personalities are so connected in real life like you and Brett are, it's reassuring. I hope she will make content in the future, and I also hope you and her can do more collaborations! As much as I like the Daily Wire, they have made some decisions that have forced me to consume more independent creators' content simply because there is more personality and genuineness to be found.
My thoughts are that her contract was up and she wanted a better deal but TDW said no. Or she waited until her contract was up so she can move on to do different things. Wish her the best and I'll be there to support her.
I don't care that much about politics but she made it sound interesting to learn about it. Her replacement isn't going to get the same amount of viewership since we subscribed for Brett and not her. Either way she'll probably make the channel her own and gain a new audience after a few months.

Agreed. I think there are way too many people conspiring that Brett left because she was mistreated or upset about something. Brett has said a million times once she has a family that'll be her number 1 priority. Well, she's now married and has a farm. Wouldn't surprise me if kids are coming soon and she doesn't want to be stuck with the show schedule of DW. She has enough followers she can now do her own thing on her own time and prioritize family. It makes sense career wise that she'd be moving on about now.

This was so obviously not her choice or even consensual. And Reagan obviously wasn't just there to step in when there was no other option, she had a hand in it and it was dirty. That, or Brett is MUCH worse of a person than we all assume she is. Those are literally the only two options.

Just subbed to her new channel. I had already stopped watching the comment section, not even knowing what exactly happened. I thought it was icky and a little uncanny valley how close Reagan was trying to copy Brett’s essence. It did not sit right with me from the very first video. I look forward to supporting Brett in whatever new adventure she goes on next. And DW is so wrong for thinking they can just copy paste someone like that. Brett is beautiful inside and out and you can’t just replace her.
Fair points but remember that the rapid face zoom reactions, animated GIFs, sound effects and so on are all DW creations via The Comments Sections editing team, for all we know Reagan could have had a hand in instructing Brett how to sit and do X,Y,Z in a way that looks good on camera

Yeah, I don't know what's going on at DW. I didn't like Crowder, I didn't like Candace, but even with the drama that happened with those two, there was definitely a concerning pattern emerging on DW's side. Then, the shoe really dropped with Brett. Much as I like DW, it's getting harder and harder to support them when they won't retain new talent! Especially if things are shady in the wings!

What concerning pattern? A contract didn't get renewed. They didn't do anything controversial at all.

Yeah, Crowder and Candace are both people that I used to follow, but as time went by, their behavior really turned me off of them, and I’d already stopped following them by the time each of their DW drama happened. Brett’s departure took me completely by surprise, though. Reagan filling in was a little weird, but I just thought/hoped that she was working on a yet-to-be-disclosed project that made her need a few days off.
The only thing I can think of is that Brett clearly continued her friendship with Candace after Candace was let go.

It's totally unclear, in interviews like with Prager or Peterson she comes across fantastic but for all we know she might have some views like her friend Candace who thinks the Moon Landing was fake, earth may be flat, Hamas are somewhat justified, Andrew Tate is a wonderful lovely person, Macrons wife is a secret man etc
I really hope not but it's a huge concern that they are friends unless it's more about what generation they are from rather than political alignment or way of processing information
I totally agree that the Daily Wire has short sided Candace and Brett ,and that their philosophy in general has turned out to be very flawed. But Steven Crowder for sure deserved everything he got ,especially after seeing that video of how he treated his wife.
Candace deserved it, she fell hard into very racist conspiracy theories, and continues to perpetuate them.

I was getting the same feeling with the Candace Owen’s drama and now Brett. The more I see the more DW seems hypocritical to me.

The DW created the comments section BEFORE Brett was on it. They had another host before her. Brett did bring in the majority of the subscribers, but it was a preexisting product. I unsubscribed from the comments section because Brett was the reason I watched. I don't want an imitation of her.
I don't pretend to understand the media industry drama etc. (Candace seemed like a totally different thing, they didn't have to be for free speech and pay her at the same time) I hope this is a springboard for Brett and not a deprecation. I will be following her❤

Her boss doesn't have a show. He creates stuff like *her show* by developing and executing on concepts. Brett was one of many young women considered for a pre-existing show concept that had people for stuff like makeup,set design, social media trawling, punchy editing and advertising/viral marketing. She was one of the Team for the show. It was not "her" show as such.

I’ve noticed all my favorite peeps from that side of things seem to leave the Daily Wire… I’m glad they can make it on their own though!! I’m sure it’s a relief to just be yourself and not have to worry about the opinions of the group be attributed to them, and vice versa. Independence in y’all’s line of work is probably super nice!

I 100% agree I think DailyWire has been great but something is breaking somewhere. IMO I think Jeremy and Ben might be the problem. I want to see DW thrive as well, but as you said Amir…if they want to represent what true diversity is…they’re failing. I'm hoping they can rise above and fix whatever issues they are having cause they lost a HUGE major talent with Brett.
Ben is not in charge. Jeremy largely calls the shots, and if you think it’s Ben’s fault that Candace got pushed out, all I got to say is good riddance. She has turned to being the worst with insane antisemitic conspiracy theories and it was a mistake to hire her in the first place, considering her checkered past. The only flub the DW has, is letting Brett go, but I think it has to do with financial issues in pay as well as (probably) Brett wanting more benefits, is my guess.
I will follow her wherever she goes. She will probably be more successful on her own. Daily wire forced her into a niche that I think she has potential to surpass.

Great points. Speaking to your point about the current DW line up, I am an older, white, Catholic male. I don't want to watch their content because I already know what I think. I sought out Candace and Brett to see different perspectives.
I love Brett. It’s so simple. She is amazing. I’m a 43 year old married momma, so not her target audience, but I adore her. My four and five year old love her. I am so heartbroken 💔. I miss her so much already. She is incredible, iconic, and irreplaceable. 😭😭
I’m not her target audience either. 58-year-old woman. But Brett is so refreshing and fun to watch. She makes difficult things easier, too. I’ve told a whole bunch of people about her, including my kids and my friends.
My personal opinion - Brett asked for more in her contract renewal, they didn’t want to give it, and they figured that they could switch her out for “Brett-lite” with minimal consequences.

How the hell can you compare Brett with those crazy people Crowder and Owens? You can be critical of the Daily Wire for many reasons, but getting rid of Crowder and Owens (as well as hiring Brett) was some of the best things they ever did.
You can defend Brett without trying to elevate those lunatics.

I think it’s just about money in the end. When Brett came in to DW no one really knew who she was and was given a huge opportunity and skyrocketed. Now I think her contract renewal was coming up and she knows she is worth much more and DW thought maybe it would be a good opportunity for Brett to pursue greater things and take on a younger and cheaper talent who hopefully will be able to rise through the ranks. In the end I think it is all about money.
What I want to know is what ever happened to Brett's version of Snow White?
Anyway, I just assumed that her parting with DW might have been involved with other changes in her life such as marriage (I just assumed she got pregnant.)

DW wants to release it simultaneous to the Disney junk, for stark contrast effect. As long as Disney keeps postponing so will DW.
It is my understanding that only the trailer for the Snow White and the Evil Queen was ever done. Now the trailer is gone from the DW web-site, so I think the whole Snow White project is scuttled now that Brett is gone.
