I think spitting is not the only problem here, as writer was initially trying to justify marital rape as a reaction to spitting. The whole scenario was inappropriate and why writer keeps making Meerub a dumb person despite she is well aware of Haya's nature. I think writer just wanted to disgustingly get more ratings by adding this twist. I would ban this writer for future.

This drama ended up being messed up. Meerab was shown as independent fearless self sufficient career oriented woman. Murtasim wanted to her to pursue her career ,instead of taking it the other way round, she ended up being a depressed dependent person.The episode that showed it to be martial rape seemed to be a mistake and to cover up, the drama kept messing up more and more. Not happy with how my favourite show ended.

Did anyone notice that last week episode 47 teaser shows that Haya is asking Merrab to leave and chali jao etc.. That scene is no where in episode 47-48. 🙄 To be honest, this turn was awful. First of all Husband/man has equal respect as wife/woman. This drama was making a very good highlight on this point that no matter what, wife should not be slapped or beaten up like a dog. But should not teach that it is OK to slap and spit on husband face in a situation where he didn't even get a chance to speak up. Very disappointed

Ok, correct me if I’m wrong. In Wehshi drama in which Nadia acted wasn’t the EXACT same scenario shown? Where the actor ‘appeared’ to have assaulted the lead actress - but later it was shown he hadn’t. But because it didn’t have that much ratings there was no furore. And she is ok with that - exact same thing in Tere bin and everyone needs to be taken to court. Wow! Talk about double standards . I’m not justifying Tere Bin , I myself am a viewer who is very disappointed in the new twist. But the double standards of these ladies get on my nerves. This drama ended up being messed up. Meerab was shown as independent fearless self sufficient career oriented woman. Murtasim wanted to her to pursue her career ,instead of taking it the other way round, she ended up being a depressed dependent person.The episode that showed it to be martial rape seemed to be a mistake and to cover up, the drama kept messing up more and more. Not happy with how my favourite show ended.

To be honest, this turn was awful.
First of all Husband/man has equal respect as wife/woman. This drama was making a very good highlight on this point that no matter what, wife should not be slapped or beaten up like a dog.
But should not teach that it is OK to slap and spit on husband face in a situation where he didn't even get a chance to speak up. Very disappointed

Ok, correct me if I’m wrong. In Wehshi drama in which Nadia acted wasn’t the EXACT same scenario shown? Where the actor ‘appeared’ to have assaulted the lead actress - but later it was shown he hadn’t. But because it didn’t have that much ratings there was no furore. And she is ok with that - exact same thing in Tere bin and everyone needs to be taken to court. Wow! Talk about double standards . I’m not justifying Tere Bin , I myself am a viewer who is very disappointed in the new twist. But the double standards of these ladies get on my nerves. They themselves acted in such ridiculous dramas and the way they talk is as though they’re some Oscar winning artists. 🙄

Drama makes no sense since Meerub left home. The character of Meerub is an independent woman who can make her own decisions. She has been an educated and disciplined girl since the drama started.
