When I think of sailing to the Caribbean and Bahamas, Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ships are the first thing I think of. They represent the Royal brand very accurately. Only problem with Oasis-class ships since they changed the menu in the MDR is that both food variety and food quality are not at all what they used to be. Feeding 7100 passengers plus 2100 crew is a monumental feat. Prior to COVID, Royal was handling the food quality thing admirably. Since then, it’s been hit or miss (mostly miss).
The drastic increase in the price of food and operating cost might have something to do with it. Also, the cruise company did not make any money for 2 years or so. That’s a lot of revenue to make up. I noticed they increased their prices in everything… drinks, gratuities, excursions, etc.
@@sauronthegreat5799 To some extent I agree with that, but when i cruise with other cruise lines, I see how much better they are doing, I find it hard to believe that Royal is merely suffering from higher food prices. For instance, Disney, Princes, and Norwegian (with the exception of Norwegian’s MDR) are all doing exceptionally well with their included food. In my experience, Royal has been the most expensive, as they nickel & dime you at every turn. Princess and Norwegian offer specialty dining, Wi-Fi , and drink packages at no extra cost, while Royal charges extra for all that stuff.
For everyone wondering, the line they were showing was more than likely royal Caribbean Edit: he was actually showing Royal Caribbean Cruise Line the whole time

We just went on this ship for a cruise. It is amazing. I could not believe how large it was. Nothing felt limited at all. You had no idea you were on a ship until you looked at the ocean. Smooth sailing, tons of food, and activities to keep your week busy!

I will never get why people like and want this. I find it not nice, it's like a tourist spot with people squished together with stuff you also get in a hotel or in general tourists locations. you dont even see the sea or you dont feel like being on a ship but you waste so much money to be there, plus it's so bad for environment, takes so much energy, is also dangerous as well (compared to a walk to a normal park ) etc.
A restaurant in an airport had all kinds of plants and trees and just as i went to eat, a mouse ran over my foot!! The manager gave me some bs saying they try to make it like your outside!!!! We looked at him like the nut he was!!
This is utter insanity, and you wouldn't catch me on one! For one, they ALWAYS get people sick... and 2, any mechanical problem happening onboard that huge monstrosity would be 100% horrifying... And, the service staff are all foreign, and makes one wonder if the reason for so much illness is because those folks aren't thoroughly checked out before hiring! My opinion... NO THANKS!
I get where you're coming from! Cruises definitely aren't for everyone. 😅 They do have a lot of health protocols in place, though, especially with everything that’s happened in recent years. As for the staff, cruise lines actually have pretty strict hiring and medical checks worldwide. But hey, if it’s not your vibe, that’s totally cool-there’s always other ways to travel! 😄✈️
As soemone that was in the 7-9 year old's adventure ocean, it was honestly really boring and the staff acted like we were dumb. Nothing against the cruise ship or the line, but it just wasn't a pleasant experience.
I’m scared of being on a lake ocean or sea because when I was on a 50 degree lake a hole was in the boat then there was only one extra boat in the back that could only fit 4 people and the people making the boat stayed back and swam to some land

@@RobloxGamingWithMiska not much profit in having a ocean liner nowadays only one is active, also they would have to complexly redesign the 3rd class area i dont think many people would want 4 people in a room thats smaller than a jail cell with only a sink and 2 toilets for everyone in 3rd class and 2 bath tubs
My neighbor took a cruise and he didn't know quite what he was getting into but he had to go to the doctor and he said they charge him $300 and he had to go in and have his arm cracked or something at the gym and it was another $300.
um i hate to be the one to tell you but icebergs are not in the caribbean also they do nothing to modern welded steel woah it scratched the paint big deal
That's not a ship but a floating mega city. I do not need to sit in a park or ride on a carousel when I am cruising. That's why I always book the familiar "old treasures" of the RCC fleet. I love cruising in the "classic" way and think it is clear the hyped "Icon" is also not my cup of tea. 😉
