    Hello Cassie,
    Thank you for sharing. 💙My mom used to give my sisters and I hot oil treatments when were young. I just continued with them. I love adding Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Peppermint oil to mine, along with Olive Oil. I warm it just a lttle; not too hot. Yes, I believe because of the stimulation of our fingers on the scalp, it definitely works.

      Hi love, I've used tea tree and peppermint together before. The tingling feeling on the scalp is just wonderful. Yes, the scalp massage 💆‍♀️ is a good way to stimulate blood circulation and nourish our hair follicles for sure.

    Great video! To avoid overheating the oil(s), would you suggest oiling your hair and then use a heat cap to warm up the oil in the hair?

    • @CassysHairCare

    I have been doing hot oil treatments with castor oil and coconut oil for a few months now but haven’t gotten hair thick as your yet. It’ll take time, I know. Gonna try out massaging it in next time

      No worries hun. Please keep at it. Be gentle with the hair to avoid breakage bc breakage can cause thinning of your hair. It took some years for me. Thickness will come.

    They say relaxing the hair causes cancer! How long have you been relaxing your hair? And how often? I'm thinking about doing mine! But so scared! I don't want cancer 😑

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you are not sure and if you can manage your hair's texture, then don't do it. I've been relaxed for years now, but don't let that dictate your decision.

      Definitely, it could be any Castor oil of your choice as long as it's natural and it's from a trusted brand.

    I am recently relaxed and I've been noticing that my hair falls out a lot more. Even when dry. And I cannot tell if my hair is shedding or it's falling out from the relaxer or if my hair is damaged. But my hair doesn't look any thinner. It's still super thick. And it isn't kept in my hair for too long, scalp isn't burning . So I'm confused 😩😩 any tips or help ? 🥺

    • @CassysHairCare
      @CassysHairCare  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concerns! Experiencing increased hair fall after relaxing your hair can definitely be concerning.
      Hair shedding is a natural process that happens to all of us, but sometimes factors like changes in hair care routines or chemical treatments can affect it. It's not uncommon to notice a bit more hair fall than usual after a relaxer, as the process can weaken hair temporarily.
      However, it's essential to distinguish between shedding and hair breakage. Shedding typically occurs from the root and is a natural part of the hair growth cycle, while breakage happens along the hair shaft and can be a sign of damage.
      Since you mentioned that your hair still looks thick and your scalp isn't burning during the relaxer process, it's possible that the increased hair fall might be due to shedding or minor breakage rather than severe damage.
      Here are a few tips to help you manage and possibly reduce hair fall:
      Gentle Handling: Be gentle with your hair, especially when it's wet. Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to detangle, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.
      Moisture: Keep your hair well-moisturized to prevent dryness and breakage. Deep conditioning treatments can help restore moisture and strengthen your hair.
      Protective Styling: Consider protective hairstyles that minimize manipulation and reduce stress on your hair, such as braids or buns.
      Regular Trims: Schedule regular trims to get rid of split ends and prevent further breakage.
      Balanced Diet: Eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals can promote healthy hair growth from the inside out.
      If you're still unsure about the cause of your hair fall or if it continues to be a concern, it might be a good idea to consult with a trusted hairstylist or dermatologist for personalized advice and solutions.
