I have a 01 gti 1.8t as a daily and I’m building a block stage 3 cams and big turbo you car is wicked awesome man keep it up I was a v8 guy but I’ll never leave the mk4s

He's got a built 2.0 stroker block, fluidamper, large port AEB head, head studs, Garret gtx gen 2 3071r turbo, tial wastegate, ie intake manifold, big front mount, I been watching this build since he started, pretty much if it'sc under the hood its either new, or upgraded. He tuned it with eurodyne maestro tuning suite.
Believe it's on pump gas but maybe wrong

This was and still is the first car I ever had
nice, i got a 2003 1.8t wulfsberg edition and i love it. Turbo sounds great and pulls hard, gonna start doing some upgrades to her soon.

m00n Child I saw a 2003 Wolfsburg in the junkyard a few days ago and yanked everything out of it to swap into my Mercedes slk. I'm not sure if it has the same mounting locations as passat or a4. I gotta find out the hard way

What muffler do you have?? I have a 1.8t Passat running 22psi with 2.5" straight pipe, and 3" catless dp, n I'd love for it to some like this. I had a magnaflow on it but it was really quiet with the magnaflow

I’ve got a 2002 Jetta GLI vr6 24v 6spd on coilovers and a high flow cad also mishimoto radiator and HID headlights all for $2,500.00 .

I have a 2004 Jetta 1.8T 5sp.Its the same color as your GLI. I just picked it up last year. I am looking to getting a stage 1 united motorsports tune to it. I am going to start from the bottom and work my way up to a GTX30-35. When I upgrade to the stage two I will get a KO4 or GT28 and so on lol!!!

Got a mk4 wolf sitting on 15pound just a open downpipe and intake bump it up from 10spi to 15 sadly it's not tune but can hold it's own against my boy mk7 gti

Hey man, what do you do for a living to afford this? Im 18 and go to school (in my senior year) and have a k04 20th GTI. I figured a k04 would do me good for the price and power.... well, now i want more, and i was looking into a gt2871r. Anyways, im curious on what you do, because you look to be not too much older than me. I know turbos, rods, tuning etc isnt cheap. Awesome build, I look forward to watching more videos!
COMET - Gameplay Commentaries! I’m a fire alarm technician, I don’t make as much as it looks just it’s just the way I budget everything. K04 20th in your senior year is not bad at all. My senior year I had a Wolfsburg 1.8t with just an exhaust and racelands, your ahead of the game if mommy and daddy aren’t funding anything. You’ll get to this point just takes time
I saved up for about 8 months for everything, Im a cook at a restaurant and do a lot of landscaping. I just feel like 8 months of saving is down the drain though... k04 was fun to put in, had a great time with my buddies and all, but now I just feel like i shoulda kept it stock until i have enough for a true BT build. If you dont mind me asking, how much in total would you say you have spent on the build besides the price of the car?
COMET - Gameplay Commentaries! Save your money for different car imo. Now is the time to do so. Unless your doing the work yourself, labor costs at a shop ain’t cheap anywhere. I saved my last few years of H.S. and paid in full, set myself up. Been modding the car since ha. Should be able to save up some serious dough if you got no bills!
I do the work myself outta my garage. Saves me some money. I want to buy a daily and build this buuut my budget says no to spending 1k++ on a reliable car.

Still Available these motors are designed to use turbos, unlike Honda. Without a turbo it’s useless

Well the car was on the dyno, made 450whp on 20psi had lots of room left but fuel pump was maxed out. Next year I’m going to 1000cc for better idle

Genesis 1000cc injectors are the way to go! Stick with the GT3076, the GT35 has a really narrow power band and too much lag!
